This marks the end of Arkpedia's coverage on Base, I can finally move on to other newer topics! However, is there more that you want me to cover about base, such as specific operator combos, or new player bases? Let me know and they might be added to what I might call EX Chapters. If there are other topics about the game you wish to see too, tell me about them in the comments!
How about orundum farming? -yes i know this shit killing my sanity aswell- You could explain it for someone maybe like me, who's free to play and has so much spare time (sometimes not) to better understand about this method. I know it'll be really advance, but hey someone's out there we're putting some trust into your video as i am.
I would love some sample layouts for a 2-5-2. I've been a long term 2-4-3 player and I'd love to try switching it up but it's so daunting to try to reconfigure all of my setups.
I think you can try to tackle the lore of Arknights, there is a heavy lore drop in recent times and lore is one of Arknight's prominent features. You can even try to predict what kinds of lore content they are pushing forward.
Base update (beta 1.0): - added layer will be insane. - operator preset. (+auto cycle timer) - new rooms and main functionality. - Archer tower and clan castle is finally added.
From what you mentioned, I look forward to operator presets the most. It's such a pain in the ass to remove and rotate all operators room-by-room every time 😩
I understand that 2-5-2 is better than 2-4-3, but here's my argument against it: I like seeing my bases upgraded to the maximum I can. I don't want to leave it half upgraded. So I'll stick with my 2-4-3 XD Though I will steal your Shamare, Bibeak and Tequila combo from this video, thanks!
As a reference point for those whom might be curious - You need approximately 1 million LMD and 500K EXP to get one 6* operator from E0L1 to E2L60 and get a level 3 Module. You can kinda use this as a baseline on the type of LMD / EXP balance you want to achieve in a base and see those values through an RIIC report. Of course, not all operators will want a level 3 module - so this will reduce the total amount of LMD you will need to achieve your desired results. My main advice for anyone wanting to run XX3 setups - if you want optimal value, you want to micro the base to the point where you can get your A-team base combinations higher uptime by taking advantage of the Level 5 Dorm morale recovery (4 morale/hr in an XX3 versus the 2 morale/hr in an XX2 setup). Reducing the downtime of your base A-teams will slightly close the raw +100% factory production gap that XX2 setups give. Not much, but gotta push every advantage if you want to use it.
Something that I've never seen mentioned in base videos are the almost free 120 gold bars that you can get every month that are easily more than 2 days worth of gold production that help the factoried catch up
I used to sit comfortably on my Gold bar reserve, thinking i'll never run out of them only for Proviso to throw all of them into the incinerator. She alone forever changed how my base works.
Never E2 operators solely for the base skill, only do so if you plan to use them in normal gameplay. Proviso is the ONLY exception to this rule because you can realistically offset the cost it takes to E2 her in about half a year. For every other operator in the game (including Shamare and Tequila), it would take multiple years to make back what you spent to E2 them.
@@mindringbell you right, it's important to priority what operators to build. but for me as i on mission to E2 every operators and my main squad already build, i see E2 Shamare and Tquila is a tempting option to me
Likewise, working towards E2'ing every operator. In which case the cost to E2 any 1 operator is no longer incremental (it's already planned for) and prioritizing base operators earlier than others means a net gain in materials or sanity equivalence of materials.
13:24 if you don’t care about maintaining EXP production- which I do not - then you aren’t necessarily able to dismiss this option. 252 is certainly better for maximizing overall total production, but 243 categorically has higher potential LMD production, which is the primary thing I care about at the moment.
I'm also 243. 243 can produce more lmd but produce less gold. In the long run, we will run out of gold and lmd will drop. We will have to drone gold eventually. On average for all operators cases, 243 will produce 66k lmd and 33k exp while using some drone to produce more gold to feed tp. 252mr 3gold fac will produce 68k lmd and 30k exp, and can change to 3exp fac which gives even more sanity value when there are too many lmd and need more exp.
@@angeles13th 243 produces less gold assuming you dismiss setting a 3rd gold factory. And the only reason to dismiss that as an option is that it sacrifices EXP production - which I don't care about, so I don't dismiss the option. At that point, 243's gold production is, at worst, on par with the most common 252 strategy. The motivation for saying that 252 has higher LMD production is that you would have to use drones to supplement gold production in 243, instead of continuing to use drones on the Trading Post, where in 252, you could just set a 3rd gold factory. Of course, there are no game mechanics stopping you from doing the same in 243 - the only thing that might is the idea that you have to sacrifice some EXP production, and that is the whole grounds by which that is dismissed. Where the hell are you even getting that math? And if you need just LMD, why not just do 3/4/2 instead? Why not just make exp cards and use the LMD cargo stages, since those are more sanity efficient than exp stages?

For those who wanna nice picture in base (tp on 1st floor, factories on 2nd and powerplants on 3rd): I've tryed this big moving and that worth of almost 2 dead weeks (stop production) for me 😢
Drone to productivity is pretty simple, IMO. 100% drone production takes 6 minutes to charge one drone, and each drone "skips" 3 minutes of production in a factory or trading post. That means that drone recharge skills (i.e. power plant skills), along with the default +5% for just having someone work in the power plant, equal half of their stated value of drone charge rate as trading post/factory production. Non-skilled power plant workers = +5% drone recharge = +2.5% factory/trading post production 1-star robots = +10% +5% = +15% drone recharge = +7.5% factory/trading post production Basic skill power plant workers = +15% +5% = +20% drone recharge = +10% factory/trading post production Advanced skill power plant workers = +20% +5% = +25% drone recharge = +12.5% factory/trading post production
Yes but do not E2 operators just for their base skill. Only Proviso who can return the investment cost fast enough and even then, it still takes months.
Office Room (you can even leave this unbuilt if you haven't build it yet), Reception Room can be left at one or two, and Dormitories, but the last one can be adjusted according to the leftover energy. Training Room and Workshop can also be left at lv. 1, but I honestly recommend to max it so you won't gate your own progress.
Men, that's what they call "permanent account damage". It make sense for Workshop and Training room, but why it's not possible to downgrade Office and Reception Room? Hopefully, it'll be fixed when Base make it out of beta, LOL.

If you don't farm LS-6 to lvl up charactor, 2-4-3 is good, otherwise switch to 1-5-3 to stock up exp cards and you can switch back later. Building materials is refunded, It cost only drones to change, so just switch when you need it.
IT IS HERE! O:
3-3-3 gank since launch day 1.... 😂😂
I had around 1000 gold the last week (243 base), but then, Proviso + {Pozëmka + Tuye}, with 4 gold line production arrived, I have now only 600 gold bars, if that continues, I'll be run out of gold in a week 😅
Imagine dropping this and the base moves out of beta the next day 😂
I started playing a week or so ago, I currently have 2 trading posts at lvl 3 and 2 factories at lvl 3, with 3 others at lvl 2. I am going for 2-5-2 with office and reception room at lvl 1. I like the income I am getting so far.
Real heroes don't wear capes.
realy a good video man keep going plus i have a question i have angelina should i get suzuran from the shop ?
2-4-3 is best for me who doesn't really care much about the base.
For those who wanna nice picture in base (tp on 1st floor, factories on 2nd and powerplants on 3rd):
I've tryed this big moving and that worth of almost 2 dead weeks (stop production) for me 😢
Drone to productivity is pretty simple, IMO.
Non-skilled power plant workers = +5% drone recharge = +2.5% factory/trading post production
1-star robots = +10% +5% = +15% drone recharge = +7.5% factory/trading post production
Basic skill power plant workers = +15% +5% = +20% drone recharge = +10% factory/trading post production
Advanced skill power plant workers = +20% +5% = +25% drone recharge = +12.5% factory/trading post production
And then there is greyy
A dead operator does not give 5%pp. I use dead Lancet combo, so I just go check it already.
@@danthanhhuynhpham685 Greyy and his alter, Greyy the Lightningbearer, are two of the advanced skill power plant operators.
@@angeles13th Ah, you're right.
Absolutely loving the explanation, really helps, big bless Kukki
soo I need to E2 Tequila, Shamare, Bibeak, and Proviso right?
Yes but do not E2 operators just for their base skill. Only Proviso who can return the investment cost fast enough and even then, it still takes months.
@@dindapriska I see
Hi Kukki, are there any base layout suggestions for orundum farming?
oh part 3 of the base management guide
but does this count as a month late…? 🤔
So I just need to accept not having maxed-out factories/Trading posts/Dormitories?
Unfortunately yes.
for better resources gain? then yes
Not for trading post unless u have proviso e2
LETS GOOOOO
To have a 2-5-2 base what are the things i gotta keep at lvl 1?
Office Room (you can even leave this unbuilt if you haven't build it yet), Reception Room can be left at one or two, and Dormitories, but the last one can be adjusted according to the leftover energy. Training Room and Workshop can also be left at lv. 1, but I honestly recommend to max it so you won't gate your own progress.
what is that app called?
Can't wait for base to come out of beta and make all that crap useless. :D
Men, that's what they call "permanent account damage". It make sense for Workshop and Training room, but why it's not possible to downgrade Office and Reception Room?
Hopefully, it'll be fixed when Base make it out of beta, LOL.
Shit. Play 333 😂😂😂😂
I'm early today
uncle went to uni to get a degree in base management so he could teach us 🥹
