    My wife mentioned low flame of the largest burner, and it has been like that for quite some time. Google search shows many websites how to reduce the flame, or get a professional to increase the flame! Finally this one appears! BINGO! Under the flashlight and compare the hole condition with other burners, indeed the hole is semi-blocked. A paper clip solved the problem! And my wife so happy!

    Thank you so much! I can now check, "fix burner" off my list. My husband saw me poking a paper clip in the burner and figured I would break something. He was wowed at the quick fix. Flame is still a little uneven, but I plan on working on it.

    Youvare a GEM... such a life saver. My Bertazzoni's hob was so dim almost non existant and I thought I would have to make an appointment, spend time and pay service fees for a visit from the hob guy! Instead, in 5 secs, VOILA, your suggestion fixed it. Except that little hole was way smaller and a sharp pin didn't work but a optical wire like those used to tag clothes in a store was fine enough. I threaded it in and spun it a few times and did the trick.... MWAH! You are fabulous! 😘 😘 😘
    Great video and long live UA-cam to bring you half way across the world!

    1,000 thumbs up! We've been dealing for so long with a low flame on the one reasonable-size burner on our stove. I was about to give up on this stove, but now it's good as new! I can't wait to show my wife the chef this improvement when she comes home from cooking in her restaurant later!

    You are awesome! Every video i watched talks about regulator and other different things. Early last year I changed out the regulator and nothing changed except spending about a $100 for a part I didn't need. For almost a year now I was down to 3 burners and coming close to losing another one. I was already shopping for a new stove until I came across this video. I cleaned out all the holes with a needle and I now have all burners working properly again. THANK YOU, THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

    Just purchased a JGBS66REKSS GE Gas Range. Problem: very little variability in the flame size. Flame only changes between Low to 3. From 3 to 10, I have the same high flame with no change. Had the tech come in. He said there is no way to adjust the high flame, only the low flame. Which he did, but it did not provide me with infinite variability of the flame size within the parameters of Low to 10. My old stove did not have this problem. I asked about changing the sizes of the orifices (I run LP), he said that will not provide the change I'm looking for. I would think it is within the valve itself. This seems to be a common problem now. But, no one is addressing it. Can you offer any thoughts?

    this is my [problem with my burner. I have varying size burners, and the one I use mostly has the most BTUs. From the beginning, this burner has one super-sized flame which is also yellow on the end. Any thoughts? It really messes up different things including the sides of my pots.

    Take out the regulator. Drill out the brass gas jets. Water will boil much quicker now. Like at a Chinese restaurant when they cook with those big woks. Mine works great now. Before I had this tiny blue flame on high. Took forever to cook mac and cheese.

    @Older_Mountain-goat_1984 3 роки тому +1

    "I'm just cleaning it out with . . . "
    Yet you're not actually cleaning the jet"out"...you're pushing the dirt back inside the jet, into the pipe the jet is mounted to, which logically, will once again clog up the nozzle opening one day, as the running gas will push any dirt inside the piping into the jet.
    There's plenty of vids on how to clean the jet and connecting pipe, which is quite simple to do, and actaully removes all accumulated dirt.

    So how do i fix when it stops burning when I turn it all the way to low. It turns off, like what the hell. My parents are going to blow up the house.

      As a gas safe engineer this is not how to do it as the injectors are soft brass and can enlarge the bore. The correct way is to remove the injector and soak in warm water to clear any debris. And should only be done by a gas safe engineer who is qualified to work on cookers.
