Nice old Peugeot. I say old because it was built in 1957. That makes it older than me I'm 62. It looks great in white, i remember a few of them on the road back in the 1960s.
Yes, the design was inspired by American cars from around 1940 like the Chevrolet Fleetline. It was designed during WWII, so it was indeed a bit outdated in 1957. I believe Peugeot stopped the production in 1960 so this is a late one. Still, this is one of the most beautiful cars I know and my favourite classic car!
What a neat car. I haven't seen one of those. It looks original. It must be a joy to drive. Thank you for sharing.
Les 203 de mon enfance, nostalgie ! Merci. Gérard.

Beautiful. I drove a 59 403 for years. Loved it so much.
La plus belle de toutes les Peugeot

Машина-звэрь ! 🚙 !
Great Looking car ,that style in the USA would have been a1940sdesign
Yes, the exterior looks like a small version of a 1946 Ford sedan
Actually it WAS a 1940s design - but car models in Europe used to stay in production for much longer thant the american ones.
Looks just like a 1940 Nash , pretty old fashioned for 1957.

Looks like a 1947 US car
Tiene un lindo formato. Pero suena espantoso. Debe tener un motor de 2 tiempos
