Beautiful classic car. My family had one in the 60s Long gone now but I have kept a pair of keys as mementoes and also somehow the plastic part that held a canvas loop- handle by which the front door could be pulled shut. The plastic still intact on the car shown in the vid but the loop missing.

Thank god, the front license plate in the correct position, my dad had one of the first Indenor Diesels in Holland, those engines had a very characteristic sound and had a top speed of 120 km/h, I still remember how proud he was to have a Blaupunkt radio installed. The heater was great in those Diesels and it had a sunroof. This is a very nice car and not one of those cheaper models with small hubcaps. Great memories

Als ich bei der Bundeswehr war, hatte ich einen 403. Ich trauere diesem Auto noch heute nach.

Probably the best car I ever owned. It cost $2400 new and came with; sun roof, Michelin X tires all stainless steel brightwork, the lacquer paint was so thick, it never chipped. 4 speed on the column and the seats made into a bed for campout. i compared it to the Volvo and Borgward and it was the only one you could hear the radio over the engine. The suspension was great, I never missed the Austin Healy I traded. You learned to drive with style and grace instead of power. Good use of metals but the aluminum head on the engine eventually caused a failed head gasket. It just needed re-torque ever 10K. The Saab solution was longer bolts and spacers. The fabric and carpet gave up in about two years. I would buy it again in an instant if it had an engine similar to my current 22R Toyota

Thank you for sharing. What nice countryside. Do you have a barn full of old cars?

Il y a une anomalie dans ce beau film, en effet pour les prises de vues intérieures la conduite est à droite comme en Angleterre ?

Beautiful car. Did they use a different engine in the 404 or a rework of this one?

I think they developed the 404s out of the 403.

No, the 404 had a completely different engine.

    痺れるなぁ。
    404のステーションワゴンもいいけど、セダンは403。
    コロンボが乗ってる時は気にも止めなかったけど、味わいのある車だ。
    乗ってみたいけど、日本に中古車は無いだろうね。
