With your second build out you folks eliminated the closet, the upper storage, any particular reason? The extra view from your back windows I'm sure is nice, but do you miss the extra storage?
Believe it or not we actually have more storage. We extended the length of the closet space by removing the under counter storage as all of that stuff moved into the added drawer and kitchenette space. Plus with closet storage you have to balance things, with top down storage, you can completely fill it so we actually have far more storage than before
The front air vents don't work? Are the cables just not connected to the vent controls? Do you get air through the side vents? The system is pretty simple, but hidden up under the dash.
@@KendallandGlenn My side vent tubes got disconnected accidentally which is why I asked. It was pretty easy to hook them back up. Just lie on your back with your head under the dash with your butt on the seat... no neck strain there!
sarran1955 But no coolant temp gauge... I assume electric blower was an option (like in late Beetles too) and uses the same seitch than watercooled versions.
Yeah, there are many “potentials” and many of us don’t mind taking the chance. As gross as it may be to some, droppin a deuce in the bush is very satisfying (and great for your bowels when squatting).
Enzo Lai Hey Enzo! We typically just go to laundromats or use the facilities at a campground if they have them. For when we’re more remote, we use the Scrubba bag which works a treat ☺️
I came over from Max & Occy a couple weeks ago and now I am binging your videos to get to know you guys. Hello from Lewiston, Michigan! ❤😊

We get air circulating from outside but not the fan system inside. It's never really been an issue to be honest. haha

Really nice aircooled VW 👍👍👍
Hmmm, more of a wetboxer, with a heater fan switch on the dashboard.....

With all the creepy-crawlies [Brown snakes...😲😬]...no camping toilet?
Nope, just utilising what nature (and public toilets) have to offer! haha
