ഒരു വർഷമായി ഞാനിത് കഴിക്കുന്നുണ്ട് . നല്ല റിസൾട്ടുണ്ട്.... എന്റെ അനുഭവം എനിക്ക് 43വയസ്സുണ്ട്..കുറച്ചു നാളായി മെൻസസ് ഡെയ്റ്റ് കറക്റ്റായിരുന്നില്ല.പക്ഷെ chia seed കഴിച്ചു തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ മെൻസസ് ഡെയ്റ്റ് കറക്ടായി.. കാലുവേദന ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു അതുമാറി... ദിവസവും ഒരു ഗ്ളാസ് വെള്ളത്തിൽ 2 ടീസ്പൂൺ ചേർത്ത് കുടിക്കും....👌👍

1. POPPY SEED is Papaver somniferum, commonly known as the opium poppy or breadseed poppy. Poppy seed is an oil seed obtained from the opium poppy. In malayalam its called kaskas. It's restricted in many countries as opium drug is made from its pods. High level of morphine is present in the seeds. It's available both in white and black color.
2. Chia seeds are the edible seeds of Salvia Hispanica, a flowering plant in the Mint family (Lamiaceae) native to central and southern Mexico, or of the related Salvia columbariae of the southwestern United States and Mexico. Chia seeds are oval and gray with black and white spots.
3. Another one getting confused with the above are Basil seeds or sabja seeds. They look similar to sesame seeds but black. The type that you eat typically comes from sweet basil, Ocimum basilicum, which is the plant commonly used to season foods. It's a culinary herb of the family Lamiacea (mint).

The name kaskas is confusing. In Hindi it is called Safja. The Khaskhas used in masalas is poppy seeds.
