Thanks for watching! Be sure to set that resolution to 4K and enjoy HD goodness. I also love comments. Do you have this watch? Are you frustrated by my inability to operate a simple Casio? Let me know below.
My phone only goes to 1080. I had to watch a 20 min video on daylight savings to get my multi and 6 mudmaster back to correct. How many watches did Shane put on the chopping block?
Great video thanks for sharing nice watches Casio is my favorite watches I also believe I had a Casio watch growing up when I was a child I really do not remember that was forty some years ago I'm 48 now
I hate you so much, mate! Coming in here every video bragging about the weather over there in the sunshine. 😂😂 You may actually be right though! Stuck inside the house with nothing to do but search Amazon for budget Casios. Ps. It was 8 degrees yesterday! Spring is coming.
7:40 those sub dials are extremely useful for 'timeboxing' / timeblocking. The upper right corner indicates minutes, counting up to 10 minutes. The left corner counts in 10 seconds upto a minute. Also, I use the interval timers for 'Pomodoro' by setting interval1 for 25mins focus time and int2 for 5mins break.
I have the 1300. I got it mostly because the layout looks like my tri-graph from the 90s. I'm not a referee and have never used the timers, but it's readable and sturdy which makes it a perfect beater watch.
These are great I’ve had both of mine for a long time. The great thing is that these bracelets and resin straps are all interchangeable with the Timex chronograph that we have.
Thank you for this video ... 01:50 in this video ...I also have the Casio Royale with the metal bracelet ... Here in the UK it cost me £30 GBP from an authorized Casio dealer... So I know it is 100% Genuine. It looks awesome for the money it costs. It looks like a far more expensive watch... 100% Agree the backlight is superb. I have never seen an AE-1300 WH for sale here in the UK. It is an interesting-looking design... Casio watches are great.. They are my favorite watch manufacturer (Not that you can tell LOL) Thank you so much for this video
That was much more entertaining than if you'd read the manual first 👍 . I'm intrigued by the countdown watch, seeing the time and countdown on the same screen could be very useful.
Ha ha ha. You get to see how dumb I really am! It's actually fairly simple in the end. Thankfully for the full review I can script and edit out my idiocy. 👍👍
@Half Past Blog Thanks Alton, I have a different version 5600 with negative display and a 5610 with positive display. Is that negative display typical in that you have to get just the right angle to read the dial?
@@larrydalton2205 That is definitely the case. It is easy to read under daytime conditions at the right wrist angle. It is the watch I wear to work around the house and doing dirty jobs so I don't mind. The negative display on my full metal square is far easier to read.

Good to know!
I like that big one with the negative display. Looks like a beast.
That's a G-shock DW5600BB and it is a great one. Simple with no frills and gets the job done.

Right on. Glad to hear it serves you well.

Great you mention that. I'm definitely going to test them.

You are most welcome. Thanks for all the videos you've watched and the support. It is truly appreciated.

Reminds me. I need to review one of these royales. Nice overview. Also on camera bloopers happen all the time. Haha.
You could have some fun with that.
Ya they do! Especially when your IQ rivals that of an overarching chicken.
I love casio! I want every each one! BUT i want solar movement..
Solar is awesome. Although hard to charge in a Canadian winter. It took two weeks in the window to charge my full metal G-shock. 😂
@@halfpastblog oh yeah we don't have that in sunny israel..
A breakdown of both would be nicr
👍
Cool ref timer. I always like Casios on straps so it’s not as jingly
Ya their bracelets kinda suck
@@halfpastblog you get what you pay for?
I would love to see a review of that referee watch because that is interesting
Stay tuned!
Which model gshock square with negative display is on the far right late in the video?
That's a G-shock DW5600BB. A fun stealthy and tough one for $150 CDN
