    Chris - This week I think I'm going to go a little bit overboard on some of these firearms.
    Me - I think everyone is OK with that.

    I think the GP100 should be viewed as Ruger's response to the L frame.

    Had one of the Century Arms CETME's my biggest problem with it was that I could only get one of the three mags it came with to seat right.

    I had a Hesse HK91 clone. It was fun, moderately accurate, but weighed 13 lbs with a scope.

    Whaaat have they done to my G3 from basic? Defaced it with new finish and a red dot! Barbarians! 🙃 Jokes aside, that with irons and so much surface wear giving it an almost stainless look was mine back in the day. Easy to spot among the black ones with the green plastic and a perfect six o clock hold. Sadly long scrapped.

    Everyone loves Colt and S.W. Revolvers..... But I have admit,I'm a big fan of Sturm Ruger's beefy design on quite a few of their wheel guns.

    I think a lot of collectors wouldn't touch a Mas 49/56 at $800. I'd buy one at $500 just to try it, but it committed and laid $1100 for my 49/56. I have plenty of French ammo but it's very hard to replace now since I bought a bunch at $25 a box. I have 4 Mas rifles now and want a pre-surrender Mas36 to round it out

    While I really like the Security Six I prefer the GP100. To me the GP100 is far more comfortable to shoot. The MAS 49/56 is a great battle rifle. Mine is still in 7.5x54 French and it is more accurate than my SKS or my M1A Scout in 7.62x51.

    Check the head space on that C308.

    • @actionjackson1stIDF
      @actionjackson1stIDF Рік тому

      Good advice. I had a Century Arms Galil in 5.56x45 and head space was off so bad it would not feed properly. I returned if to Century and they could not fix it and replaced it with another only to have them recall it because of a striker issue which caused rifle to go full auto without notice. I returned.it as was required by the recall and once it was replaced I sold it back to dealer I originally bought first rifle from. Fortunately for me I was able to get all.my money back as the political environment had change and demand had gone up. I have stayed away from Century Arms products since.
