How to Upload and Trace Designs on a Glowforge

- Did you know that you can use your own designs on a Glowforge? I am sharing how to upload designs as well as use the trace feature with the included camera. Whether you have an SVG file you want to upload or an image you want to scan and use, your Glowforg will work with both! And yes this does work with the Glowforge Aura as well as other Glowforge machines.

Is there a limit to the file size or number of files you can upload on the free version of the software? Looking forward to seeing the upcoming videos on the Aura. I'm definitely thinking about getting one but want to see more projects that can be done with it. Thanks Angie, love your content!

My library has this machine and I wondered if I wanted to would I have to upload to a usb ..so does glowforge work from one of those..plus how expensive is this machine
You could put your design on a USB then add from there. The Aura is the least expensive at $1200.

I wanted a few memories done my son’s big birthday ..not 1200..I birthed him don’t ,he didn’t cost that much…lol…,
When I click 'adjust artwork', to erase, crop or tune an image, there is no 'apply changes' button on my screen. How do I fix that?
My guess would be your screen is too small to see it. Try playing with the size of your browser.
I want to learn to put a photo on a ornament. Like a pic of your home.
