Thank you so much for this video. I’m 21, got a boat and learning as I go. Had no idea the carbs were all behind that cover, but question if you see this. After you take off the bolts around the cover, are there more bolts inside to remove it completely to get to the back bolt of the starter?
thank you! i met to put a time laps of me doing it all in the video but lost it at some point. Yes there are the bolts on the cover then 6 more bolts. there all pretty small and don't do anything important. best of luck
Mines 22 years older than thatn and starter is just now shit the bed.. shes been rebuilt 4 times but the commutator has worn down to the plastic on some places.. lol. Looks like the same starter ..
