aizawa passed out due to the injuries. he saved his quirk by cutting off his leg, but the blood loss was to heavy, so he passed out. and the "my body moved on his own" was the same thing deku said, when he tried to rescue bakugo in episode 1 or 2.
Holy Shit, this was an very intense episode. From Aizawa cutting off his own leg like a beast, to Deku breaking himself down to beat Shigaraki, Todoroki coming in clutch, Endeavor stepping up major and more awesomely Bakugo’s character development. So much happened, they really kicked things up this season. I’m both excited and slightly nervous about what comes next.
They been changing the endings of the episodes slightly depending on important events that happened, so if you guys only just noticed - you might have missed the Twice one as well.
Shigaraki was woken up too soon. That's why he asked how many months it had been. Since he was brought back too early his transformation is incomplete, that's why his body is breaking
can you remember what deku said in 1 st when he was helping bakugou? The same thing bakugou said when he was saving deku. i realized that imiediatly so i was freaking crying. My tears was coming out of me like freaking waterfall
As bad as this is for the heroes, just think how much worse it would be with 10,000 Twices running around. Putting him down like a mad dog was the heroic option. They need to do the same to Gigantimachia. One thought occurred to me: where is Monoma? He wasn’t with Class A and B. His copy quirk would come in handy about now.
Deku did not have float before just now unlocked it! He was training with Uraraka’s Zero gravity to get a feeling for it so that when he did unlock it he would already be used to the feeling
8:48 No, this is the 70-something % coming into play. Shiggy isn't actually completed yet, meaning his body breaks right here because of the excessive stress. Essentially, his body and his quirk cannot yet fully keep up with the damage done to him and the burden of his own quirks as well.
It's funny you call Todoroki a walking IcyHot. Instead of calling him "half-and-half bastard," a weird insult Bakugo yelled at Todoroki a lot especially in early seasons, Bakugo usually calls Todoroki "icy-hot bastard" in the English dub.
I have a few issues with this season in terms of animation because the anime is a letdown on some scenes (+ censorship), but this episode is just so amazing even with them not doing justice to Deku's punches. The music playing when he uses Float just always gets me, and the plot with Bakugo right there is top notch. It might just be the best episode of the season, or at least one of the contenders.
Agreed. Deku vs Shigarkai didn't surpass the art in the manga like MHA is known to do pre-season 5 (cour 2). I gotta respect Studio Bones for this season coming out as well as it did especially with the borderline unrealistic deadlines they were given.
@@shir0azure339 You are off your mind if you think any season has surpassed the art in the manga. Visually, the MHA manga is absolutely amazing. The anime was really good as well visually, don't get me wrong, but it never topped the manga. It did fall off with S5, S6 was a bit better again. The author's, Horikoshi's, greatest strength is illustration, he's one of the best in the genre. What he lacks in terms of writing ability he makes up for with stunning visuals.
@@mrcx6142 Would you rather read All Might vs Nomu in the manga or watch it in the anime? Yeah, I thought so. I'm not saying the anime's art is consistently better than the manga. Just saying the more climactic moments typically surpass the manga's version of said moments. MHA has been known to do this until MVA was poorly adapted (and maybe even Mirio vs Overhaul before that). I agree with you about Horikoshi's awesomeness but why is this relevant? Who are you replying to lol?
@@shir0azure339 You claimed that the art pre S5 was superior in the anime than it was in the manga, and that's outright wrong. That's what I'm replying to. You probably overestimate the anime because you also consider stuff like voice acting or music choice. Now you are trying to take a step back to make your claim seem less off. But let me tell you, if you are someone able to enjoy manga, then AM vs Nomu or Endeavor vs Hood are not even a sliver worse in the manga than they are in the anime, and most of the time the anime can only dream of matching the detail and the quality of the artwork in the manga.
@@mrcx6142 Correct, I take it all into account, not just artistic detail. You gotta do that when comparing. If we are just comparing art then manga wins every time. I compare the manga art to everything the anime adds because the art is the only thing that sets it apart besides dialog and paneling. When I say that the anime surpassed the art of the manga I mean that the experience of watching certain scenes in the anime surpassed the experience of reading the manga. When I compare the two I ask myself if watching the anime is more impactful than just looking at the manga art. By the time MVA (and parts of Overhaul) rolled around, the anime adaptation was the inferior experience. No back stepping here just trying to rephrase my claim in a way that is more understandable.
Even if rock lock or manual blocked the bullet, their quirks are keeping aizawa from blinking. Manual’s water is keeping his eyes from drying up and rock lock (at least I heard from other comments in the past) is using his power to keep his eye lids stuck in place, so if either of them go down he’s gonna blink and shigaraki still wins. Either way u wanna cut, it’s a L regardless lmfaoo
But I won’t even lie, I was def thinking that when I first watched this lmfaoo but then I also thought, but damn shigaraki got super strength so that shit probably as fast as a legitimate bullet tbh
Re: Rock lock I think he was just literally holding Aizawa's eyes open. When he was introduced, it was stated that his power doesn't work on living things
Did he use float before this fight? I thought the training he was doing for it was thanks to Urarakas quirk making him weightless. Im like 80% sure this was the first time he used float.

Dude cut off his own leg AND DIDN"T BLINK.

Shame that Aizawa still had to cut off his leg so his quirk wouldn't get deleted.
The way you phrased that was funny
One quick hug from Eri should fix that

Maybe Hatsume could fix Aizawa up with dope prosthetic. That would be very cool.

Aizawa didn't cut it off for no reason. He still has his quirk. That's big. If he did nothing then he'd be quirkless.
Aizawa is him. A badass. A gangsta. Ice cold.
Imagine ep 1, crying for bakugo. Its been a ride.
