I've owned my 2014 for nearly 2 years now, and back when I just drove it I always averaged nearly 30mpg city driving. Now that I'm playing a fuel economy game with the car I've been averaging nearly 35mpg city, and last week I pushed her past 40mpg on the highway at 70mph! I go by the computer and also the trip-odometer and amount of gas I put in divided... You know the way the old folks did it ;-) But I love this car!
A little something from the archives... I had music on this back in 2013 and UA-cam flagged it. It was demonetized... so I re-edited it and re-posted it.
Nissan had a recall on the transmission a little over a year ago, they did a 'Software Update.' and now will repair the transmission for free for I forget the X amount of miles and years. Mine had around 34,000 miles on it when I got the recall and took it in, and I have to admit I have noticed a difference. The car had noticeable slip when starting off on a hill, but I have not noticed any slip since the update. She has 49,000 miles on it now no issues, yet ;-) I hope she runs good for years what a comfortable car.
Hey I have a 2014 Nissan Altima SV I barely get 23 mpg and highway doesn’t make a difference. Do you have any suggestions about what the issue might be?
The police impounded my nissan for blocks on my license so messed up i miss my Nissan it was hooked up with the double din pioneer 2500 but ima get the same car in 2023 i really love this car my favorite this is pretty much unisex they made these more like renter cars they need to make an official daily driver
I'm on my 2nd transmission. The 1st one went @ 10,000 miles. I have 147,000+ now. It's a loud engine and transmission. My is a SV also. .mileage is not the same and with an 18.5 gal tank. It's no wonder why you would get good fuel mileage. Would I get another? Probably not. I should have gone with the 6spd Honda Accord

I have a 2013 Nissan Altima 3.5 SV with 228,713 miles and it has been an excellent vehicle. 0 issues at all. Nice power to it.
They started adding the blind side warning sensors and indicators on the 2013 Altimas. Would have been great to see that feature in action.

Everyman Driver nice, good idea! I remember watching your vids way back then too lol
Awesome to see a throwback video, Dave. Can't wait for the 2019 models of the Altima to be released!!! As always, great review.
Wasnt expecting 2013 but if it's Everyman I'll watch it

Dave, did you mean 2019? I ask because 2013 is so five years ago.
David Sandelin it’s 2013. UA-cam demonetized this video years ago and I thought I do a throwback Thursday.
Everyman Driver Understood good sir. You got demonetized? Wow! You aren't offensive at all. 🤔
Nice throwback REVEIW! Can you do the 2019 when it comes out? Your do a excellent job.
Throwback Thursday? When will the 2019 altima review come out?
Yes.

Hey, I have a 16 Altima SR that does not get close to the advertised MPG too. Mine is about 22-25 overall and at best 31-32 on the freeway.

No way I pick this car over the Mazda 6 Honda Accord or Camry

Whaaat why 2013. Lolll shouldn’t it be 2019
Nissan doesn't send me press vehicles. My channel isn't big enough to justify a loan. Maybe once I hit 200k subs?
