My nose instantly picked up the cherry. You may need to spray more or invest in a decant where it can give you more juice per spray. It’s starts out super sweet + spicy and cherry heavy and then the dry down is a smoky pipe tobacco. It’s loud and silliage is very large on my first wearing i got a lot of compliments. That transition is very addictive too. Highly recommend you give this one a real chance. Those 1.5ml do not do it justice.

I sampled it this past weekend and I liked it . Kinda reminded me of Side Effect. So when it released yesterday I went ahead and picked up a bottle. I actually like and from initial spay to dry down. I know everyone's nose is different .

I purchase my first bottle of INITIOand it was Narcotic Delight, I smell It and fall In love with It. It will be my new platform with INITIO. Its from the Carnal collection. The Carnals (purple) focus on hedione, the white bottles are the hedonist collection which is what I really expected this to come out in given it's name (Musk Therapy, Rehab, Paragon). The black bottles are the absolutes, then they have the magnetic blends and the black and gold project (the ouds).
It's funny how different skin chemistry and olfactive systems are. I get the cherry strong, the spices are pink and black pepper and they are well blended to me. The cognac and hedione come in together and balance it all out. The tobacco is actually a wet cigar tobacco, very different from that used in Side Effect or Naxos. I think the vanilla is a bit sweet. I've been layering it with some different stuff and have found some amazing things. I find it to be a better version of Killian Angel's Share
I would recommend you re-visit this. I pick up the cherry the whole way through this fragrance. And i will also say that doing a full spray and experiencing the fragrance is amazing. A light spray from a bad atomiser decant really doesn't do this scent justice. This is my new favourite from initio and side effect being my second. Side effect is a great mystery scent as you an untrained nose won't know what they are smelling but narcotic delight is blended so well you can pick up on the notes and is easy for the average nose to appreciate. Performance on me is easily 10+hours but as usual if you want performance i always say to do sprays on clothing. Goodluck!

I know blending two heavy fragrances is "taboo" but man try layering Side effect on top of Narcotic Delight. They synergize so perfectly, everything balances out. It is amazing.
Fire Review....excellent timing. I've been feening over Absolute Aphrodesiac. That Vintage Radio is a VERY Close Paragon clone to my nose. Question: What would you consider a good price for an Initio? Annnd...I get similarities between a few PDM and Initio's Haltane/Oud4G Pegasus/HighFreq Oajan/BlessedB and kinda Althair/Absolute (at the drydown) Thoughts?

Good price point on discounters is around 200 for Initio. The comparisons are fair.. definitely some similarities with those.
I love pdm,initio my favorite house. I just got paragon,blessed baraka man they are so fucking good. I don't know about you but I pick up cherry in blessed baraka man I love it. Man let it sit it will be better the next go around. Guy told me that if you have blessed baraka you don't need narcotic

Sampled this yesterday... Didnt pick up a ton of cherry. Got mainly pipe tobacco, vanilla, little smoky. For having a syrupy sweet element, it felt a little thin.... the dry down I thought was awesome. Warmed up and got really nicely spicy. The initial 2 hours for me was mainly a lightly smoky tobacco with that syrup sweetness.... it was a like but not a love. Would buy for 100. Not 300

This scent was love at first sniff for me. I know it’s unisex, but it definitely leans feminine to my nose (the sweetness, the hedione and the cherries!), and I typically don’t go for unisex scents, I prefer to smell feminine. Anyways I knew I had to buy it, it’s so, so addictive! It doesn’t smell smoky to me either, maybe just a little bit in the far drydown after 6+ hours. I smell cherry-cola, cinnamon, boozy vanilla, sweet tobacco, and something special and ‘flowery’ I can’t quite put my finger on (must be the hedione).

You need to give it some time on your skin. The dry down changes after a while, and it was weird because on my skin, it was a more peppery boozy tobacco, but on my wife she got a floral cherry. All about the skin chemistry.

Just sounds like a re-hash of Side Effect (which itself is too sweet and overrated)...I see no reason to pay Initio prices for this, over something reasonably priced and just as good (if not better) such as Guerlain Lhomme EDP

I get 0 spice. 0 cherry. This smells spoiled. It is not even 1% Side Effect. I rate this .5 out of 10
