Erica, good review. My signatures are Side Effect, Naxos and Green Irish Tweed (yes, a bit eclectic). Although you are quite younger I value your insight as I deal with multiple generations in my practice. That being said I would appreciate your comments, and possibly review, of Amouage Interlude Black Iris. I like it and it seems to appeal to the 35+ ladies but I am not sure that I am getting honest feedback!

Great video Erica. My favorite scent from initio is between Musk Therapy and Blessed Baraka. I love Side Effect as well but it’s more of a situational fragrance to me.

Great review Erica. I'm patiently waiting for the UK release but will probably get a decant first before picking up a full bottle in Autumn. It's clearly a cold weather fragrance so logic tells me it should have been released in September, not end January, with Spring just around the corner and thus limited opportunities to wear over forthcoming months. I absolutely love Initio though and this sounds like it will rival Rehab as my current favourite.

I just ordered this fragrance yesterday. I can’t wait to wear it. Of course, it is a blind buy for me however, I love the House of Initio. I have Side Effect, Atomic Rose, Psychedelic Love, High Frequency, Addictive Vibration and Musk Therapy. Great review.
I have a 10 ml of it and it’s alright. I ended up not liking it enough to get a full bottle. I really haven’t tried any Initio that I like enough to get a bottle of. I only tried like 4 of them. I ended up getting a huge compliment wearing this today from a pretty woman. I think that I changed my mind 😂😂😂😂

Erica. This scent is just so conservative and non polar. I went through a ton of Guerlain samples and these are similar. Csn you try Guerlain Feve Gourmande? It has a cacao note that is creamy. It is not milk chocolate or dark chocolate. Also Cherry Oud has a round cherry note that is very unisex. BDK Vanille Leather is very robust with very very nice vanilla. I loved the iris root or orris coming out a little. Also there is pink pepper that gives it a nice touch.
I just tried it and it is definitely an instant hit! Does get a bit more of a sweet tobacco on the dry down. Super good
I finally got a sample of it and its absolutely delicious 😋 I love the booziness , the mix of sweet and smoky spicy of it, it’s totally unisex, it’s a a fragrance to wear with your little black dress or a leather/sued jacket 💜🖤💜🖤

I do agree that this is one that needs to be sampled. I blind bought it and I am still playing with it see how I feel about it.
I feel like it leans more masculine. But I don’t want to give up on it yet. I will continue to wear it see how I like it for me.

Need to give this a try asap. I liked Side Effect but something about it stopped me from wearing it a lot, same with Rehab. I'd like to get Musk Therapy, Paragon and Narcotic Delight next.

I got a 10 ml sample of Narcotic Delight the other day. I really like it. It smells great to me. I wouldn’t pay what I’m seeing it go for at the moment. I will wait for it to come to discounters.
I have never seen an initio fragrance go at a discount outside of Christmas gift sets.

Something about Smoking Hot was off for me also. Opening is incredible but something about the drydown isn't good for me. Maybe I'd like this better. I like Side Effect but a little overly sweet.

I got a sample of this from LuckyScent as I was excited as well… it’s crap. It’s very synthetic smelling up close on skin. I hope you don’t have a link for this fragrance bc people will be so let down…

For a man, Apple brandy on the rocks is a must! This is too polarizing, you need to try a sample first before you decide. But I am a sucker for Apple brandy on the rocks.

Bought it in pre order, trying it from Friday. Lovely tobacco fragrance BUT simply it doesn't last and it doesn't project at all. And I mean AT ALL. After 1hr its a skin scent, after 6hrs completely gone.
I really hope it will gain strength with air oxidation, at the moment strongly regret 250€...

Ok Erica. I fell for the first minute thinking it was good. After hours I came to conclusion it smelled spoiled and cheap vanilla like fake even. I thought the cherry note would show up. There is almost no tobacco. Cheap vanilla is 90% of this frag. Please revisit and analyze. Do you really love the smell? Side effect was good.

I believe so!
If it's crazy humid, I wouldn't recommend it. Even keeping it to 1-2 sprays side effect will cling to the humidity and become cloying. If it's a cooler summer night around 80ish with little to no humidity, you'll be safe with 2 sprays on your pulse points on your neck because the heat will make you sweat and push the scent out just enough. Wear what you love no matter when or when people say it's for. Just test out how it works on your skin in different situations and adjust sprays from there. Excellent taste, though 👌. While everyone else is wearing some blue fragrance, you will absolutely stand out.
