- Deftones are in the process of finishing up a new album, according to frontman Chino Moreno. Deftones are scheduled to play a massive show at Golden Gate park as direct support for System of a Down.

Hard to believe I am saying this but my favorite is Deftones self-titled. It was at a very weird place in my life and every song means so much to me.

Self Titled is my favorite Deftones album. I saw them play 7 Words live @ Ozzfest will never forget it they played right before Slayer and right after Puya, Godsmack, and System Of A Down.

Chino's been a busy boy these last couple of years. Ohms in 2020, a TON of Crosses (my favorite shit) from 2020-2023, and they've got more live shows this year. I wonder how he's going to fit in any Deftones live shows this year on top of those shows.
My favorite Deftones album is Around The Fur, and I have heard Chino say that it’s his favorite as well.

My favorite is Around The Fur. Bought a guitar and first thing I did was learn to play that entire album. I also went on to learn White Pony in its entirety as well.

Diamond Eyes by Deftones was the most amazing heavy song I've ever heard of. The song's chorus literally matches the idea of beautiful Diamond shards just raining down in giving that scenery magical visualizing feeling.

The obvious answer is White Pony. It’s a masterpiece. Established them as one of the greats. But a serious argument could be made for Diamond Eyes. Unbelievable collection of songs!!!
