A belated Merry Christmas🎄🎅🎁 and A Happy New Year soon🎍🗻🌅!!! Wishing you all another great holiday season! May you have a wonderful year and hope see you soon!! 👍
My wife and I have taken this trip many times. About the time you were having breakfast on the final morning of your trip (about 30 minutes before the stop at Reno, Nevada), you passed by my house that looks out over the tracks, and had you been looking to the left at just the right moment, you might have seen me standing on my front porch waving to the train. Thank you again for sharing these trips.
I rode the California Zephyr at the end of November. It was significantly cheaper, likely because there is less daylight than summer. Even then, though, there were so many incredible views to take in. This planet is nothing short of breathtaking. Thank you for sharing this and letting me relive that trip!

Same here! I'm on high dose Prednisone, so hunger becomes me 😂. I'm over here squinting to see the menu thinking "what are we going to eat? ...Get the shrimp!" 🤭 Happy, healthy, New Year, friend 🥂🎇🤍🙏🕊
Thank you so much for taking me with you on your adventures trough Canada and the USA. Thanks to you I've seen places, I'll never see in my entire life. It was so much fun to travel with you. Guessing which food you would order and how your little bedroom in the train would look like. I know it was A LOT of money, and it took many hours to edit all these videos. But it's highly appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!❤ Can't wait to see your next adventure! Saying hi from the Netherlands. 🤗 🇳🇱
One suggestion for anyone taking this trip westbound: before you arrive in Denver, call or better yet order online from Snooze inside Denver's Union station. Amtrak will be servicing the train and change crews so you'll always have time to hop off the train and grab your to go order. There is also a decent place to get coffee in the station. It will almost certainly be the best breakfast or lunch you'll have while traveling the Zepher.

I'm so happy to see your vids, i see throught your eyes all the beauty and wonder of this great planet we share! So many places in the US i could never visit on my own but I saw through your eyes on your travels. Again, thank you so much !
I love seeing you on the same Amtrak trains I ride. But this time, you even got my same roomette, Room 3! When I went, spring was just starting to melt the snow in the Rockies. Even the Nevada deserts were covered with lakes and ponds. So glad you enjoyed the views. Thank you for bringing us all with you on your rail journeys.

Kuga, I've enjoyed all of your American and Canadian vlogs. I hope you don't stop, but keep on traveling, whenever possible, to other countries and continue to post your amazing videos!
Thank you for sharing your travels with the rest of us! You do such a great job of filming and descriptions...and I LOVE your sense of humor! Keep up the good work😊
Thank you for taking us on your trips. You always seem to want to be by yourself. Do you get out of your room to talk with your fellow passengers? Drink a lot of caffeine so you won't fall asleep so much. Come back to Canada. The second largest country in the world. Lots to see and do.
☘️🇮🇪❤️ I’ve loved your channel since I found it over a year ago. You travel in calm peaceful quiet immersion of your surroundings. Solitude can be & is a glorious thing when you are at peace with yourself or do not feel comfortable around strangers. Trains give folks like us that place to “ bubble “ comfortably to see the truth of ALL sorts of people & travel closely inside a place others wouldn’t or couldn’t go. Blessings young warrior
Three meals a day on Amtrak is around $100 USD in the dinning car no adult drinks so the fare you paid is pretty good. Even the snack bar meals are expensive for junk food. Did the same trip from Denver a couple months ago final stop San Diego in coach. After that trip I want around the country with Amtraks 30 days 10 stops for $499 coach no upgrades allowed no meals included. Was fun jumping off at a station in the middle of nowhere when I saw a kid selling snacks in a wagon. Asked him if he had anything healthy and he said he used to but people didn’t buy them. LQQking forward to a Japan 21 day rail pass and stopping at every station I can get a beer and bento.
Thank you for your hard work in 2023. I really enjoy your videos! May 2024 take you to new, wonderful places. And please, always take us with you! Safe travels Kuga!
Another enjoyable travel video, Kuga I think we can all say you make good ones! You never judge those around you and your video skills are second to none! I hope, as a Canadian, you enjoyed your travels here in NA.
Absolutely amazing! I watched all your vlogs, and I was quite sure that the California Zephyr will be the last leg. That's a trip that you will remember forever. Well done, and please continue to do this!
Always enjoy your videos. They are very well done. I have lived in Albuquerque and now in Chicago, so am very familiar with the dramatic change in scenery and climate you noticed. I love the mountains and deserts of the west, and the green scenery and the snow of the north. Nice to see it through another person's eyes and travels.
I’m a writer, and started watching your channel as research for different trains around the world. I have become a huge fan since watching my first video, so to see the town I live in on your map is so cool! Thank you for sharing your journeys. Your video editing style is a joy. I will surely end up watching all of your videos!
Boardwalk is not America's favorite soap brand. Most of us have never heard of it and it's probably sold just to trains or hotels. It was a nice train ride though. Kodiak oatmeal is good. That's not rice in your dinner. It's Israeli couscous. A different type of grain. Israeli couscous is large grain but regular couscous is small. Maybe one day you can see Grand Canyon. Emeryville is on the other side of the bay from San Francisco. My granddaughter lives there.
Aw, what a lovely video! So glad it was smooth sailing for you and you arrived safe and sound. And your footage was incredible (especially at the end in San Francisco). Please come back soon! Hope you have a nice rest and the happiest New Year 💚🙏🕊🎉
The Bow and Arrow is a sculpture by Claes Oldenburg and his wife Coosje von Bruggen. Well known for doing out of scale sculptures of everyday objects. Here in KC, we have the Shuttle Cocks. In Denver they have an oversized dust pan and brush. In Minneapolis they have the cherry on spoon. Might be worth a trip to do various cities visited via public transport to see famous works of art.
America’s train system is honestly quite a shame and not up to standard with most of the passenger railway lines in Europe and Asia… But one thing is for certain, it’s hard to beat America for those views. Lovely tour, Kuga-San.
Hopefully I'll be taking this Trip in a few in a few years from now. Kuga's Video helped me make that decision. He shows the peacefulness of train Travel. A NICE Roomette , the Sights , and the Delicious food that Amtrak provides . Thank you Kuga .Nice Job😊
Thank you for your awesome, beautiful, and humorous video. My husband and I are considering doing the California Zephyr this summer. You made me really want to go!
Well Kuga it was just great; and this finally leg looked really pretty nice, but I am desolate....no Boulder? No Camp 7? How could you disappoint me so? I have Googled it and asked around, but I am still in the dark. All I know is they make a very cool shirt!... Much love to you
Hi Kuga, first time I write but always a follower. Thanks for the pleasure of your company in this ride as well as others. Wishing you and your love ones a very happy year and healthy new year all year long
Great video! I made the mistake of choosing economy class seats for that same journey… never again! I got very little sleep and would find myself dozing off in the lounge car the entire time I was there, which was at least the majority of the trip, waking up not knowing how long I was asleep for haha 😂
What a great city to finish in! Welcome to San Francisco. I've lived here for 14 years and I still think it's the most beautiful city in the US. Thanks for the video. I've been thinking about doing the same trip.
I was smiling looking at the views of the prairie states and Colorado! I am from Denver and its Union Station is beautiful! I have been on this train also but just for day trips to Glenwood Springs, Colorado. I live in The Netherlands now and while I love it here, I can't help but love to see my home state at such a beautiful time of year. Sorry our trains are sadly dirty and expensive compared to Japan's immaculate and affordable trains. I love your videos!

I've ridden in one of those economy seats for a two-night interstate trip and yes, it was exactly as uncomfortable as you imagine! (We couldn't afford a sleeper room) And the observation lounge was also very, ah, festive on that trip, as I recall. 😅 Thank you for sharing your travels!
Kuga, thank-you so much for bringing the world to my house here in Australia, its doubtful l will ever visit all the places you take us and I'm very very grateful for the time and effort you put into each and every episode. A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your fellow subscribers stay safe and be merry regards Doc from Down Under in Australia...
I'm fortunate to be Amtrak passengerbfor old train,Travel back to New York with my sister was quite the locomotive traveler experience, But recently heard about the new Amtrak Train,Will definitely go to Amtrak Train to get the whole new experience, From my previous experience.
I so enjoy watching your videos, especially your Japan videos. Even though I have been to many different places in my lifetime (military family), Japan was one place we never got to go to. We were supposed to, but that trip had to be cancelled. I have been to other Asian countries though and have very fond memories of that particular trip (this was back in the mid 70's). I have also lived on both the US coasts as well as the mid-west. Hopefully if you ever come back to the US, you can travel on the southern Amtrack rails. Thank you for the very entertaining videos!!
Now this was a enjoyable traintrip. Very beautiful scenery. Utah us sooo beautiful, and in California, the Redwood forests, stunning. I was in Cali last May and June. Also in San Francisco, also rode the cable car. That was pretty exciting tbh. 😊
I went back near the beginning to see the menu; so I could figured out what the "rice" was with the salmon. "Ancient Grains"!! What the heck is that? Looked like couscous. Maybe quinoa?
A belated Merry Christmas🎄🎅🎁 and A Happy New Year soon🎍🗻🌅!!!
Wishing you all another great holiday season!
May you have a wonderful year and hope see you soon!! 👍
🥹 Right back at you, brother! 🥰🤗🙌 Thank you for enriching our lives, and being the caring, funny, awesome person you are! 💚🙏🕊

Congratulations on your fantastic voyage of North America. No better way to capture its beauty than by rail. Cheers my friend!
Great trip. Finally the king of the North America Journey Train.
Hi Kuga, thank you for the ride! Consider the movie “ Silver Streak” from 1976. The movie is 90% a train ride from LA to Chicago.

I went back near the beginning to see the menu; so I could figured out what the "rice" was with the salmon. "Ancient Grains"!! What the heck is that? Looked like couscous. Maybe quinoa?
Enjoy what you enjoy!
Happy Christmas & thanks for your videos
10:32 Wallet not crying, very happy.
Thank you for the video. I think US trains are kind of dirty. The only worse trains I have been on are in Paris.😂😂😂
Grats Kuga, you survived Chicago, the rest of the trip is all a bonus. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
The utilitarian service and aesthetic of Amtrak aside, this route is one I would like to do someday.
Beautiful voyage!!!!
