you're driving me nuts too... you are not letting the machine finish so maybe that why there is a part that is not cut through....
actually i think you did something wrong with the small and big can, normally, the product will stop itself once it is done however you pulled out the product before it finished
You're driving me nuts. Why oh why won't you let it just stop on it's own?
My mom and I suffer from arthritis and our hands are not as strong as they used to be, it is difficult for us to grab and operate the regular hand-held can openers. This can opener is a God-sent !!!! I highly recommend it to persons with our arthritis problem or any other hand related problems.
I agree you didn't let it run it's full cycle. So you may have prematurely interrupted the cycle before it was done.
I have an OXO side cutting manual can opener. It also has difficulty with certain cans, like tomato paste. I haven't tried pineapple juice, but I suspect it's the same story. Many food cans, especially cans of acidic products, have a plastic liner inside. Side cutting can openers can have difficulty with that.

I just bought one of these can openers and it only opened one can before it broke. It continued to run for over a minute and would not shut off. I had to opene the back to get it to stop. Then it wouldn't let go of the lid. I had to get plyers to get the lid off.
The little metal flap that turns the opener on fell off the first one I had and this one is the replacement. The metal flap has fallen as well. I pd $17 for this and I hope i can get my money back from the retailer.
That can opener sucks. You need the Hamilton Beach electric smooth touch can opener. About 29 to 30 dollars at Walmart.Its worth every penny. Your days are relieve from going in kitchen drawer to find a Old can opener that probably wonk. We have so many can opener that don’t work.. It was time for a change . And the winner is the Hamilton beach electric smooth touch. I was in love after one opening. Try it . Bad to the bone.
Thank you for this review. Was unable to get my OT to work until you mentioned that the CYCLE must be completed. I had run my OT w/o a can & upside down to view the operation & saw that the Cutting Wheel rotated out to engage where a can would be & couldn't get it back in. Viewed your video, then pressed the underside button and held it until the CYCLE had been completed and the CW retracted back into its nest. Wouldn't have suspected that until I saw your video. Again, thanks!

even if this guy doesn't stop the cycle, show us that the one touch can opener works pretty well in any type of cans, so this review is like more-less accurate. Remember to read the comments with this reviewer.

Why are you not telling us 1) How many cans before the battery has to be A) Replaced or B) Recharged
And 2) What kind of battery or batteries does this unit use?

got one from ebay (some Chinese copy version) for 10$ with a piece of rubber made to open a glass jars. But if put some cheap battery in the can opener it can't open anything, I thinks that was missing from the review!
Thumbs up because this guy did it wrong. You need to wait until it's done before pulling it off the can.

Poor review. You didn't let the can run the full cycle and then criticize it because it didn't leave a clean cut.

Your not letting the opener to finish. This is a very poorly done review. LET THE CAN OPENER STOP ON ITS OWN THEN THERE WON’T BE THAT SHARP EDGE. Your do a very poor job my friend.
You need to let it FINISH---THIS IS SO WRONG.
You should not be reviewing anything. You seem to be making the unit fail. Not a fair review.
You have to push the button twice! Once for on twice for off. The top of the actual can is razor fucking sharp. Its a shit product
