Unfortunately, I wasn't even born when it was originally broadcast but thanks to owning the Blu-ray, I can really enjoy it. 😀

Many years ago all episodes were on youtube for a very short time. I loved the series, guess I´ll have to buy the damn Blueray.

I had watched the entire stretch of Super Friends episodes from 1973-85 as a kid, as well as the late 70’s Filmation series, but I was about 22 before I first found out that Filmation had a Batman series in the 60’s. It was an acquired taste with what felt like more stock footage sequences than He-Man. It was a refreshing experience that he threw punches (which would be outlawed shortly under parental group protest), but it’s a fun series if you’re willing to to put on those rose-colored ‘hey, it’s Batman’ glasses.

Yeah, true enough, Batman 1968 is an acquired taste, no doubt.
In spite of the frequent use of stock animation sequences which became Filmation's stock and trade in the studio's later work, it still has that kind of quaint little kick of comics-inspired nostalgia for me whenever I view it.
Heck, it still has that oddly quirky charm, even viewing it on Blu-ray today.

Thank you very much. Yeah, I tent to find this cartoon gets overshadowed quite a bit in the public's mind by Batman: The Animated Series.
As I had mentioned, the 1968 Filmation was and still is the first animated show featuring Batman and Robin, so it has that going for it.
That being said, however, BTAS certainly deserves the praise it's gained over the course of thirty years because it broke new ground in terms of animation and in terms of telling great Batman stories.

Well, honestly saying ☝🏻😉, I prefer to take the Joker as my alter ego 👐🏻🤡. He's super smart, intellectual villain 💁🏻, schizophrenic 🤦🏻 and being always tasked in the Arkham asylum 🏥🚑. I even have found Harley Quinn 🙆🏻 on my manners in the real life 🧬! Since early childhood I was raised on the story of Batman and Robin 🦇. Great video 😎👍🏻, almost new ideas for me 🙏🏻🥹 bc I was watching the Batman series of '92-94th years of the drawings on a TV channel 🤔.

Thank you very much for commenting, my friend. Yes, I also seen the 92-94 Batman animated series, and it has its own unique characteristics when it came to telling Batman's overall story and his exploits. 😀
