The first sound isn't an icecream van but a knife sharpener (a person) that goes on bike providing his services to whoever wants it (usually). It's traditional profession that used to be common throughout Spain but it isn't that common anymore. Just in case anyone find it interesting hahah

Excellent creativity with random sounds from everyday life. A bit of a stretch for me to achieve all that in a half hour, tho. Gimme a half year to learn all those techniques of software manipulation, haha.

FYI, at 15:16, where you removed the samples from the two groups, you could have left them and just changed the sample via right-clicking the sample (Mapping Editor), choose "Exchange Sample" from the context menu, and pick a different one from your files list. The start time will be the same as what you had already set.

Hi Dan! I love the videos, keep the coming! I had a question about your navigation in Logic. I'm a relatively new user of Logic and haven't quite gotten down all the navigational shortcuts that help when working quickly and smoothly. I was wondering if in videos like this you could include your shortcuts as you work. It would definitely help me (and others I think) become a better user of Logic. Thank you for the amazing videos!

The birds... I like them, yes, but I work in the countryside and my studio is not idealy soundproofed, so, in spring... Well.... I must confess I've sometime realy bad thoughts about them... 🧐

Sampling music-tunes from an ice cream van sounds like Copyright Infringement to me, unless the notes of the melody are random or public domain (published prior to 1920 or around there). The final result here was at least an isolated single note from the sample, which is safe, since it takes two or more notes in a rhythm to make a copyrightable melody.
