@@01BLSP4Y it's almost as if.....drum-roll please....you didn't bother to look up or see the full tweets Senator Kennedy was referencing. Considering the tweets which were referenced were retweets, and not original authored tweets from Mr. Payne, a fact that Senator Kennedy did not do a good job of clearly addressing, and the fact that a very small portion of those tweets was read aloud, it would be hard for anyone to have any idea which post or positions he might be referencing. I agree that Senator Kennedy may have a point with the second tweet, however I feel that the cherry picked portion of the first tweet totally misconstrued the full statement of the first retweet. So I think my original point that Senator Kennedy was intentionally vague with his reference to the tweets as an attempt to make it difficult for Mr. Payne to provide a logical response remains. I mean tweets are limited in number of characters. It would not have taken much additional time for Senator Kennedy to read the whole retweeted statement, so why not do so?
@@piercethesnare both tweets that Senator Kennedy referenced were tweets authored by someone else which Mr. Payne chose to retweet. It would be as if one were to retweet someone else's tweet that read "I think people should be put to death if they are convicted of murder." and then I ask "You think people should be put to death?" some months later.

@Mando first of all, if he wasn't a criminal, he is now. It's a felony to lie under oath.

"can you provide more context to the words I said because I can't explain them." Wow, conviction right there.
Convenient that Senator Kennedy left out full portions of the tweets he referenced. It's almost as if he was trying not to provide full context.
@@MrcockeysvilleFT Its strange you think further context is needed when if its something misrepresenting his position he simply would have said as much. Right, so if I'm pro abortion, and you find a tweet of me sarcastically saying I'm against it, I myself don't need the context provided to tell you that I don't believe that to be true and I could just explain it was sarcasm or me quoting someone for an argument or something, because I don't need the context in which the words I spoke were given to know my opinion about them. Because most people have....Drum-roll please...CONVICTION.
I'm confused...are they retweets of the original tweets he authored or is he retweeting someone else's tweets / words?
@@piercethesnare both tweets that Senator Kennedy referenced were tweets authored by someone else which Mr. Payne chose to retweet. I think that would mean he endorses those statements, and is why I say that Senator Kennedy may have a point with the second tweet, however by intentionally referencing a very small portion of both tweets it makes it incredibly difficult to provide a well informed response to the questions being asked of him. It would be as if one were to retweet someone else's tweet that read "I think people should be put to death if they are convicted of murder." and then I ask "You think people should be put to death?" some months later.
