B580 is good if its price is normal but in my country its nearly the same as rx 6800.
B580 is a decent 1080p card that's new cheaper than some used 3060 or 4060. It just needs to fix the issues.
Quite impressive especially with launch drivers. For 1/3 of what i paid for my 6800🤔. How does it handle vr headsets. My 6800 took several months to work properly after launch.
Small question, In your build guide help page, for the $750 pc build range, can swap the rtx 4060 for the intel arc B580 for $250 and make it a $600 - 700 dollar build?
yeah you could but i dont really trust intel
@gruntystuff ok thanks for your opinion.
i have a 7800 XT, and its more than worth it. ive had like 1 minor problem but other than that the performance has been great. over 100fps in every game ive played.
Do you think its worth it for me to buy it rn?
@ if you live in America, then yes, I’d buy it now because of tariffs, but if you don’t and can wait like half a month I’d wait until CES and the next gen GPUs to be announced for some price drops, but any way I’d say it’s more than worth it.
@JonathonMarston well im european. Whats ces and do you think the price will drop like atleast a bit after the launch the new gen?
what is the minor problem you mentioned and what do u think about its heating? Have u experienced any problem with it?
@ the minor problem was an ‘unsupported graphics card error’ that happened ages ago. Haven’t come across it since. It stays very cool, when playing cyberpunk 1440p ultra it barely crosses 70 degrees. I haven’t really paid its temps much attention because it’s never been an issue.
I would highly recommend getting it, it’s been amazing.
It does seem like it is good value, and I havent done a ton of research, just looked a few benchmarks, but it looks the claims in the video are a bit dramatic. It seems to lose to the 7700xt by quite a bit in most games, but then meets or even beats it in SOME (not very many) games.
Also, people are saying how they cant find it for less than like 300-500 dollars in their country, and then everyones saying "thats because of scalpers", which I do find valid brcause its not Intels fault, HOWEVER I see people saying all the time about how NVIDIAs 5090 is 2,000, but its basically the 3,000 or whatever number because of scalpers, but its same exact thing.
Moi j’ai la 7700 xt et ça fait largement le taf
The 5070 is supposed to be $549 and released by the end of February with 4090 performance; these AMD cards have to sell at a B580 price to be viable. I'm not sure what AMD's new card will look like since there is no word on those in CES. AMD is not looking good.
Gullible
Arc b580 is not worth 250 dollars lol 😂
Why not ? Give me one card that performs just as well at this price point? Not even talking about future driver updates that fix existing performance issues in some games.
Why? Its cheaper than a 3060, 12GB, and once they fix the issues, its a great 1080p card. not all use ultra settings and majority has FHD monitors anyway.
@@ancientslav4863 its even great at 1440p , it often exceeds the performance of the rx 7600xt and 6700xt
@@BastianRosenmüller My English is not the best sry. I mean it cost much more than 250 dollars irl
