To me the most underrated wrestler of all time. Great worker and great heel. Promos drew more heat than anything and could sell a match just as well as anyone.
One of the very best promos Muraco ever did was on Jimmy Snuka, just before their famous cage match at MSG in 1982. In it, he lays it all on the line, saying that Snuka is great but he hasn't been smart in his matches against him. And he shows different promo styles within one single promo. Amazing promo, one today's pro wrestlers might want to learn from.
The promo is more important than the work in the ring. You could be a great wrestler but if you can't talk you're never getting anywhere, except for Backlund.
My Uncle's all-time favorite, much like me with Dr. Death Steve Williams. Thinking about it, Don Muraco in early 80s WWF MSG was what Dr. Death was in 90s AJPW (All Japan). Had Muraco stayed in AJPW, I'd love to see him fight Doc, Kobashi, Misawa, etc. I always felt early 80s WWF MSG was very similar to 90s AJPW. Both legit old-school wrestling in the big stadiums, with the big guys with personality slamming the crap out of each other. Also, short quick promos with the storytelling in the psychology of the match, overarching into each show to form a match saga.
Don Muraco being called disgusting by Vince McMahon LOL . I never heard of Don ever taking a dump on anyone 's head .
My brothers n i just loved his swar back in the 70s n 80s 😂😊

The "on my way to solitude" promo? One of the greatest of all time.
Muraco was awesome.
Muraco was world champion talent.
Fuji and muaco were so funny together.
Brilliant!! MM was a True 5-Tool Wrestler. Not many out there.
Muraco's heel promos were gold. This promo is funny.
He did a promo with donuts that was so funny.
That promo is pricless.

I like when he was eating a hoagie/sub and beating down the jobber at the same time. Just as good as this interview🤣
Then when Captain Lou slipped on it, Muraco had to control his laughing.
@@tedcarey3637classic! 😅😅
The magnificent one is in a class by himself on the microphone, and he is, without a doubt, a five-tool wrestler.

He was a great announcer pre Hulk Hogan era.
This is the version of Vince I knew from my childhood and teenage years.

What A Cheesy IC Strap(IMPO)!
The WWWF was still not the marketing Goliath it became yet. Still finding its way.
Plus, it was only maybe 3 years old at this time
I love that belt.
LMAO!😄😆😁😄😁
“This is disgusting”, LOL
Whatchu Got🅰️Frog N Yo Pocket Vince?
I worked security at the old Capitol Centre, it was a soldout house that night. As I remember they wrestled to a draw.
This was for a match against Pat Patterson. Muraco won by count out.
@@annex4398 The fans get ripped off with count outs but that's how the wrestlers preserve their rep. Same thing with DQs
@@MrFrieszand drew more heat.
He kinda sounds like Bill Murry here! LMAO!
What year was this???

@@var108 Awesome bro. Thanks. God bless!!!
@@var108And I subscribed to your channel!!! Good stuff. I was a huge WWF fan for the whole 80’s decade!!! Best era of wrestling in my opinion.
