- I am a very, very big fan of The Last of Us (yes, both games) and Ashley Johnson who I also love from Critical Role!! Fun fact the thing that pushed me to start watching CR was the fact that Ashley Johnson was in it! Love her.
I know this song is not originally from The Last of Us but I thought I'd dedicate this cover to it in honour of the new live action dropping recently!

I enjoy how hopeful this sounds. Like it is the end of the journey, but it's a good end. Which is what the song is actually about; going to heaven. It shouldn't be bleak or sad or depressing.

Having been first exposed to the song via the "traditional" version in the movie 1917, this is equally awesome in different ways.
this is one of those songs that can be sung by everyone and with little to no instruments I feel. It can come pretty or raw or out of tune or pitch perfect, bass or soprano. It can be a group song or a solo song. It's just that universal, you know, and as long as the heart comes through that's what matters. I loved your version! Nicely in the middle of it all. Well song and strung without losing the soul.
