Ken Patera interviews are always great.
Patera was such an awesome heel. What a great talent.
Patera's strength was unreal. He seemed to come from another galaxy.
Patera is in my top 10 favorites of all time. He beat people’s asses at “Wrestling At the Chase”. Criminally underrated. Such a cool dude and pretty funny. I was really looking forward to this one. 👍🏻

@@TheHannibalTV He actually got the name of the cop right this time, John Dillon. Before he said his name was John Dillenger but what was funny was he still keeps getting his name confused with the famous gangster LOL.

Patera, Muraco, Valentine were the best of the best in those days. They needed no gimmicks. Great athletes, great performers. Orndorff, Piper, Snuka and Backlund also deserve much respect.

Same old story about the kid who threw the boulder, what doesn't track about his story is how did the police know where Ken Patera was staying? Before social media and such. Larry Zbyszko tells the story how Kenny got mad they wouldn't give him food and threw a boulder through the window and yelling "if anyone wants to do anything about it I'm staying at the Holiday Inn. 🪨🪨🪨 Article from the Milwaukee Journal:
The scene reportedly then turned into a WWE-style brawl.
Hibbard, 19 at the time, said the wrestlers threw her from wall to wall, kicked her and kneed her in the back of the neck, according to a report in the June 6, 1985 edition of the Milwaukee Journal. The attack on Hibbard resulted in broken teeth, a concussion and a ruptured appendix. Dillon suffered a concussion.
It took 13 officers to pin and ultimately handcuff the two wrestlers, according to the 1984 Journal article. Lt. Robert Ireland of the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department said in the article it took two sets of handcuffs and six officers to restrain and get the handcuffs on Saito.
The violent attack sent four officers to the hospital, the 1984 Journal article said, with Dillon and Hibbard suffering the worst of it. Police said at the time, according to the Journal article, that Hibbard was held in a headlock, punched and repeatedly slammed against a wall.
According to an online obituary, Hibbard died at age 41 in 2006.
