Thank you SO much for posting this! We had taped this exact program off TV back in the day, but that tape must have gotten thrown away 30 years ago. So glad to see these classic ads again.
I won the He-Man offer. It took about 8 months to get my figure. You didn't know what toy toy won until it arrived. I received a figure named Cyclone. I was very disappointed.
5:07 I had the exact same camera the creepy doll was holding. The gold kodack disc camera. My big brother got it for me one Christmas! Best present ever! I Had it for years. It finally died in 1990. I was at a scorpion's concert. But we left early and went outside to meet the opening act which was Great White. I was hugging the keyboardist guy while my friend went to take the pictures and she pushed the button and... Nothing! it didn't work,!!! Then the keyboard guy was like... 'Just keep trying." So we posed and hugged and posed. But it just wouldn't work 😭He was like "aw that sucks I'm sorry " I said "I got to meet you! So it was still a win win." He was the nicest person ever! The next kodack story... My friend and I decided to throw a massive party at her parents house as they went to the shore. We handed out party directions and fliers in town on the street we hung out at. I think everyone from the city showed up.. it was an insane party! 2 guys ended up going to the hospital from alcohol poison. We felt sooo bad. But the police asked us to open the door and threatened to shoot my best friends dog if we didn't open the door. They finally left, people at the party escaped and then the cops came back again with a warrant. I got arrested so did my best friend. They didn't shoot poor old sam. Yellow lab. We got community service since we were under age. We were juniors in high school. But that kodack took so many pictures of that iconic party. People on the street we hung out at talked about it for 2 years. Really truly insane!! Ah fun times im getting too old.
These are a lil different than the comercial breaks we had. All the local stuff was different of course. Whats od is the Huggies comercial in the beginning was different too. It was about a baby teaching other babies in school. Also, I WON THE HE-MAN GIVEAWAY. Didnt receive a figure I actually liked though.

I was born in 80 and we recorded this off TV onto VHS, commercials and all. I'm sure I wore out the tape from hundreds of watchings.
