The route has changed so much since I last played it... I remember when we were celebrating a sub 40... Now it's sub half hour... Like actually so many new tricks being found it's insane.

When I played BOTW for the first time, thunder blight was my last one, and it took me several days. I grinded to get the master sword and barbarian outfit and I beat it in like 10 min. The fight is hard but the power u get for it is worth it

Just a little tip for anyone trying to speed run and can’t do a boomiezoomie just do the jump>Bomb>bullet time but instead of making another bomb shoot a bomb arrow underneath the other bomb

This comment is a little old, but botw has completely changed its any% route since you have been gone. In fact the current world record sits at 23:53. Btbs are no longer necessary for the category anymore because an insane new movement tech was discovered and it can really improve your run. Plus there is a new castle route that makes the castle split faster and the fights faster

Is it not possible or just not practical to do wmtbe windblight thing with the others, they should have cutscenes at fixed positions too so I would think it could work. Is it hard to figure out?
You can only do it on the first cause the other ones won’t let you set up the trick the same way
Windblight is the only one you can prepare for like that, and during the cutscene, you can’t do anything

I’m a massive fan of smallant and point crow. I even knew smallant before he was even on yt and back then he was called smallant1 I was his 26th sub and it’s crazy that he has 1mil subs now. thank you for calling it a boomy Zoomy. I hope u had fun bouncing that boi.
Nothing is stopping you from charging straight in and beating the game in about 30-40 minutes (if ur good at combat)

2:38 actually, the tower doesn't just activate the 4 shrines on the plateau, it actually activates all 120 shrines in the game and every other tower.
