Biggest learning from boozor that I wish I knew when I was mid game: don't collect event/tournaments energy if you don't need it, it will eventually go to your inbox for 6 days Other f2p things i do - save every Broadmow / relickeeper pieces for future chases - i have a decent amount of silver so I am buying uncommons from market so I can save misteries for emergency rushes but I have training food as well - i am optimising all dungeons for solo/duo comps (don't care about time but rather efficiency) I have recently finalised a tolf solo Phantom 25!
All good tips, thanks! Like I've said a hundred times before - every F2P journey is different. But the thing that ties all F2Pers together is a focus on getting the most reward for every resource.

Pretty stat hungry and particular build: 5* ascension is a must with emergency heal blessing Regen + immortal (OddOne gaming made it work with retaliation) 1 Bloodshield accessory 2 revenge accessories if possible (this is a bonus) 118k+ HP 4.2+ Def 251 Speed Warmaster T6 Mine cleares it in 3min (all damage comes from WM)
I'm now 8.5 months in free to play, and I did not notice any change between the resources I get. I also can't imagine building Scyl of the Drakes any time soon, and I can't really imagine that Visix will be any different. I assumed these champions should be obsolete for most people by the time you get them, and a complete waste of books. Building redundant champions, that is a very late game thing, and if you have done the fusions in the last half year, I think both of these champions are exceptionally redundant.
The resources you get in the first 30-60 days are boosted by all the easy missions/tasks/quests from the early game. After that, you really need to be farming the entire game diligently to keep the resources flowing comfortably, and that takes time and dedication. As for Scyl and Visix, those are two fantastic champions I still use on my account 3.5 years in. Less than I used to, of course, but still frequently. Each player will take their own approach to the game, and your approach may not value Scyl or Visix that much, and that's totally fine and legit, but I think most F2Pers will find very good value in those champs when they get them. In my opinion, there have been no fusions in the past 8 months that would change that.
@@ColredPlaysRSL think hes getting at legendary books , cuz they are extremely hard to grind from fusion tourneys / events . Yes you can just book revive on Scyl if ur lucky enough so its "just" 2 books but that wont happen you will need a lot more then that, but nobody is happy about booking Visix provoke is 1 book but ally protection is 5 books and if ur lucky enough that not a single book goes into a1 .... thats 6 leg books ... for f2p thats horror . So think his point is if he pulls champ like Duchess / Kaja / any leg with better kit .. he would rather save books for them . That is exactly what i did and it skyrocket-ed my account and im doing cursed city 2/3 amius keys in 7th month and beaten my first normal doom tower , not even having UNM team . So in that sense Scyl / Visix are really redundant for people who pulled any better champ . Totally agree with u Colred on Scyl only cuz of 1 reason - control - aoe stun /dec speed/dec tm(and revive with ally) , so yes if player doesnt pull better leg champ , Scyl is awesome , key wording is "should be obsolete for most people by the time you get them" and that is case for many free daily login champs and doom towers champs who are horrible . The only 2 f2p champs worth investing time into 100% for long term - arbi and mithrala(smallest chest on hydra gives 2-4 fragments) . Also 100% agree with Colred on "Each player will take their own approach to the game" , this is the key thing and we all get different champs so its hard to discuss "general strategy" for raid

I've felt that the energy cap should have been raised to 150 or 160 back when they first raised the max level to 100. I'm surprised that it's been one of those QoL things that players just accept is never going to change.
Oh, I hate it. I would prefer 200, but I'd settle for 160. It's the smallest, easiest change to make to improve the QOL of ALL F2Pers and spenders instantly.
It would be cool if for clan bosses, plarium gave us a playtest for each. for example, UNM CB you playtest a few teams and once you have it how you want it, you can save it and then use it as a quick battle. So on and so forth. I know other games have a setup like that and it would give many players more wiggle room.
I agree. That's how both Hydra and Chimera work. However, in case you don't know, if you exit your game (like, force-quit it) during a CB run, the key won't be used. If you END the run, the key WILL be used. So you can kind of experiment with CB runs, but you have to keep force-quitting the game to do so. I hope they change this is in the future.
Semi-casual F2P player here. I certainly notice the times when I'm disciplined with resources and the times when I'm not. Most of the times I'm not I am disappointed with the results but near zero when I am disciplined.
Yeah, that has been my experience as well. EVERY time I get a little loose with my resources, I pay a price almost immediately afterward. Even here at the end-game where I get tons of F2P resources. It's still an exercise in discipline.

Yes, Lady Noelle fits the bill. Ankora is okay as a reviver/cleanser. I think her all-around kit is excellent, but she doesn't really compare to, say, Pythion in those roles.
2 of my favorite CCs in 1 package - great stuff! I have a small question... I´m currently sitting on 19K energy (lvl 59 account, ca.8 month into the game) and can´t get "rid" of it with daily stuff. How is it possible to use it efficiently w/o BlueStacks or some other bot program? I´d love to level champs/food more but don´t know how lol Another thing is using HHs Optimizer to gear out champions - is there a big difference for the AI between using GPU optimization Brute Force Optimizerb because i hesitate buying a new GPU just because of the game ;-)
I don't know about your graphics question, but for using up energy, you have several good options. One is to use it to complete a fusion. You typically need to complete 3 dungeon divers events which take around 5k energy each. The other thing you can do is stop consuming any refill potions. Let's them live in your mailbox until you need them. Finally, if you're out of multi-battles, try running manual campaign runs while watching a movie or binge watching a show. you'll make a ton of chickens, and burn your way through the energy faster than you might expect. I hope these suggestions help. Good luck!
I have signed up, yes. There's no way I can commit to as much in-game time as I did last year, so I doubt I'll be at the top of the leader board, but I'm going to have fun with it.
I buy the $10 gem pack almost every month. Why? Time. It allows me to play this game on my own time and schedule without too much worry about min/maxing energy usage. It doesn’t eliminate min/maxing at all. I only have so many gems therefore still limited on energy/shards/refills (any) that has to be managed to complete goals and events.
Yeah, I think that's a very popular approach. Again, if it works for you, that's awesome. Know yourself, know your spending limits, and enjoy the game your way. Respect.
Good point : I don't use all these expressions like "free2play-friendly" etc.. better say "beginner-friendly". Because after 5 years of f2p, if you are a little lucky, you can have a bunch of good champs. Ex : I just got Galathir. By the way, HH should not call his challenge "free2play challenge". Because it conveys the idea that "f2p = new account".
Eh, I get what you're saying, but I don't know. I feel like "F2P Challenge" is the best descriptor - the focus is on playing without spending money. The fact that the accounts are new is important, but self evident.
As a free to play player I am always aftaid to deplete my energy to the lowest for that one tournament that has what i want as rewards😂. Trying to find out how you guys do it or rather did it when you guys were in progression mid game.
If your energy is ALWAYS below cap, you will generate 480 free energy per day. I use that energy, and the daily quest energy, to do most of my mandatory chores each day. That let's me save all my potion refills for tournaments, fusions, and titan events.
As a FTP player, i would say my problem is not champion, it is all about gears, i dont know why, but my luck for rolling gears is really bad, been farming speed, lethal, savage, and regen gears, but just cant get the stats i want, or even when there are good stats, it always goes to acc/rst stats for my nukers, always rolled up the most unwanted stats on that piece. Hence, many of the stages i cant complete cos of gears.
I'm in the same situation. My gear has gotten better this year, mostly due to pinpoint and just time spent grinding, but my gear is much worse than my roster. Two things would help - reducing silver costs across the board so I could roll up more gear, and increasing the storage space for artifacts and accessories. Oh, and better drop rates! 😂
skill in this game hm your skill depends on luck cos all content need specific champs with specific gear and rolls on them so kraken pull more get more aportunities to progress have more energy can roll gear more times its like lotery more tickets u buy -u r locked in certain areas of game some acc r just unlucky to progress into endgame as f2p
Luck can have a major impact on your account, and so can money, but neither one really substitutes for skill. I've done takeovers on a LOT of spenders' accounts, and despite the fact that some spenders have spent thousands or even tens-of-thousands of dollars, my F2P account is stronger than theirs. Even though their roster is better, my accomplishments are greater. That's definitive proof that skill still matters. Especially when you play for years.
my favorite anti-f2p phenomenon to see in the hh f2p challenge is when someone feeds a leggo as a 5-star chicken to advance a key champ to level 60 asap. i remember one player agonizing over pulling a nekmo thaar, then deciding to feed him... 'aaargh, i was hoping i could sell, er sorry- GIVE AWAY *wink*wink* this account after the challenge is over' lol i hear that it might be open season for all leggo's in this year's challenge tho', so i suppose we will only see that with complete rubbish leggo's now... ?
Watching you manually sell forge gear whilst saying you don't use RSL Helper currently made me sad 😅. It's such a timesaver for forge and everywhere in general. There are issues I've run into when running 2 accounts on it simultaneously but not big enough issues to stop me recommending it as a huge timesaver!
Yeah, I used it at the beginning of last year quite a bit more. I may have to do so again for the F2P challenge. It helps you run two instances of Plarium Play so easily.

Yes there are some general guide lines but some people are extremely unlucky with pulls and dont get aoe revivers for months , fusions are EXTREME for resources and sacred shards , you need UNM team to get sacreds from top chest , so plan according to that all of you f2p friends
In last year's F2P challenge, there were MANY competitors who completed the February fusion, after starting accounts on Jan. 8. In other words, they started their first fusion is roughly 30 days, and successfully completed it when their accounts were roughly 45 days old. Many more competitors completed the March fusion. Some players did both. This was 100% F2P - no money spent and no extra CC resources. My personal opinion is that 6 months is a really healthy time for most first-time RAID F2Pers to try their hand at a fusion. BUT, if you are really motivated, save your resources, and do your research, you can absolutely complete your first fusion 3 to 4 months into the game. So, please, take it down a notch. Every player's experience is different, but Boozor knows what he's talking about.
I've made my position on this topic very clear. I consider Boozor F2P. In addition, he's an excellent CC, he understands F2P better than 99.99% of players, and (most importantly) he's a friend and guest of the channel. You are entitled to your own opinion, but I will be removing any further negative comments of this nature directed at my guests.
i got the luckiest start ever,from my first ancient i pulled sinesha than from my first 2 void shards i pulled skullcrown and peydma and than from my second ancient shard i pulled frozen banshee...still cant believe it that i got 2 epic voids back to back
Very nice! Peydma was my first ever void epic. She was a game-changer on my account for a long time. I eventually outgrew her, but even at end-game I still find spot uses for her in places like FW, DT, and Sintranos. And skullcrown is just god-tier everywhere for a very long time. Enjoy!

I believe it stops growing at 60 because 60 was the original cap on account level.

3:40 you guys must’ve been lvl 100 forever. It caps out at lvl 60.
Yep. It haven't run up a new account since the 2024 F2P challenge, so I had forgotten the exact level, but I knew it was well before 100.
skill in this game hm your skill depends on luck cos all content need specific champs with specific gear and rolls on them so kraken pull more get more aportunities to progress have more energy can roll gear more times its like lotery more tickets u buy -u r locked in certain areas of game some acc r just unlucky to progress into endgame as f2p
Luck can have a major impact on your account, and so can money, but neither one really substitutes for skill. I've done takeovers on a LOT of spenders' accounts, and despite the fact that some spenders have spent thousands or even tens-of-thousands of dollars, my F2P account is stronger than theirs. Even though their roster is better, my accomplishments are greater. That's definitive proof that skill still matters. Especially when you play for years.
my favorite anti-f2p phenomenon to see in the hh f2p challenge is when someone feeds a leggo as a 5-star chicken to advance a key champ to level 60 asap.
i remember one player agonizing over pulling a nekmo thaar, then deciding to feed him... 'aaargh, i was hoping i could sell, er sorry- GIVE AWAY *wink*wink* this account after the challenge is over' lol

Watching you manually sell forge gear whilst saying you don't use RSL Helper currently made me sad 😅. It's such a timesaver for forge and everywhere in general. There are issues I've run into when running 2 accounts on it simultaneously but not big enough issues to stop me recommending it as a huge timesaver!
Yeah, I used it at the beginning of last year quite a bit more. I may have to do so again for the F2P challenge. It helps you run two instances of Plarium Play so easily.

Nice joke not only that u need sacred shards and UNM team that does max chest cuz sacred rates from NM boss are so minimal that its unreal , think u need reality check @Boozor most people wont have UNM team in first year not alone 3 months , stop spreading misinformation . Yes it can happen that u get ultra lucky and u pull all 5 champs for unkillable team,but that is 1 person from 10 000 players at best , esp in that time frame . It just rips my ear when he said that cuz this is f2p NOT p2w or content creator (who get additional resources) ... we are talking about PURE f2p . 3 month fusion is idiotic to even talk about

@@eetu4302 yeah agreed , its been years since he was early f2p so i kinda see why he lost "sense" about it , i just dont want other f2p players getting into game and then trashing it cuz they think they are bad at the game cuz he said that , this game is adventure and everyone should have their own approach, period . Yes there are some general guide lines but some people are extremely unlucky with pulls and dont get aoe revivers for months , fusions are EXTREME for resources and sacred shards , you need UNM team to get sacreds from top chest , so plan according to that all of you f2p friends
In last year's F2P challenge, there were MANY competitors who completed the February fusion, after starting accounts on Jan. 8. In other words, they started their first fusion is roughly 30 days, and successfully completed it when their accounts were roughly 45 days old. Many more competitors completed the March fusion. Some players did both. This was 100% F2P - no money spent and no extra CC resources. My personal opinion is that 6 months is a really healthy time for most first-time RAID F2Pers to try their hand at a fusion. BUT, if you are really motivated, save your resources, and do your research, you can absolutely complete your first fusion 3 to 4 months into the game. So, please, take it down a notch. Every player's experience is different, but Boozor knows what he's talking about.
Because you cannot. Doesn't mean others cannot. Person can get arbiter in 3 months lol. Fusions are done in 1 month believe it or not.

I've made my position on this topic very clear. I consider Boozor F2P. In addition, he's an excellent CC, he understands F2P better than 99.99% of players, and (most importantly) he's a friend and guest of the channel. You are entitled to your own opinion, but I will be removing any further negative comments of this nature directed at my guests.
i got the luckiest start ever,from my first ancient i pulled sinesha than from my first 2 void shards i pulled skullcrown and peydma and than from my second ancient shard i pulled frozen banshee...still cant believe it that i got 2 epic voids back to back
Very nice! Peydma was my first ever void epic. She was a game-changer on my account for a long time. I eventually outgrew her, but even at end-game I still find spot uses for her in places like FW, DT, and Sintranos. And skullcrown is just god-tier everywhere for a very long time. Enjoy!
