Hey,..Thanks Guy..I think I learned almost the entire song in almost One sitting, I am at my local library and had the time . I reviewed, rewound the video, paused a little here and a little there. Now I am going to go home and tune my guitar 1/2 step down and thanks to You, I am going to " Get the Lead Out"....Thanks again, Francisco.
Ha! Rock on my man! I hope you didn't piss the library staff off, lol. Keep at it buddy!
Thanks! I subbed to you because of this awesome video. I love how you don't just brush over things and you come back to certain parts to make sure we understand.
I like it. One more Led Zeppelin song to get in my pocket. Very nice lesson! I will put it on my watch later list to go over when I haven't had a few beers on Friday night~! I love it that I have picked up a half a dozen good Led Zeppelin songs and got them down good enough to think I am getting comfortable with them. That is all thanks to folks like you that sounded it out and took the time to put it out there for others to learn from, so a big thank you and respect for that!
No problem Gary! Sure thing man. Yeah if you get a couple Led songs under your belt.. you're golden! ;) Keep Rockin' Bud!

Dang what a fun song
Great lesson to an incredible song, but could you do us a favor and maybe slow down a little when teaching the chords. I found it a little hard to keep up. Great video though. Thx for sharing. Cheers.
CosmoBoskoSeven71 Thanks Cosmo! I'll keep it in mind. This lesson was filmed a while ago, my newer lessons are a little more thorough. Thanks for watching and keep watchin I got more on the way!
that's it!!!...that's how it's played
I've got a very similar Martin to yours
Great lessons sir , thanks ! What kind of guitar is this ?
I owned a Martin DX-1, and I know this is a Martin in that series and basically the same guitar except it has electronics and is a cutaway. They have a solid spruce top and HPL back and sides. Mine was $500 in 2010. They're affordable, compared to solid wood Martins, and are comfy to play and sound great. I bet this guitar today new is between $600-$800.
just a tip putting the tabs up is so much easier to figure out
corey yoo Thanks Corey! I'll keep it in mind
For some people. We all learn differently Corey.
Not for me
6 years later and asking if you can play this in standard tuning and still have it sound good. Or not
And in those six years it never occurred you to play it in standard tuning and see for yourself whether it sounds good or not. Smh.
@@sasmitroy5480 hahaha :D
Play it in standard tuning. Usually when a band drops their tuning, it’s to accommodate their vocalists range.
how do you get the tuning right?
What guitar and strings it sounds great with all that sustain
Elixirs is all I use... ;) Here - www.guitarmadeez.com/gearthatiuse.pdf
It's a Martin and has a solid spruce top and HPL back and sides. They're "affordable" compared to solid wood Martins, like $600-$800. They sound great and are very comfortable. I owned one similar to it a few years back.
What guitar is that looks and sounds like a MARTIN
Yes sir! It’s a Martin DxC-1e. Love that little guy ;)
is this privit ?
+GREG MEEKS Hi Greg, no it's Justin
"...the messier the better..." Jimmy Page - master of slop!
+Scott Jenkins Ha! to take something so sloppy and make it so beautiful... You're the man Jimmy ;) Thanks Scott!
Zep' derives a lot of roots from Mississipi delta blues, perhaps sloppy, banging it out type of stuff. This song keeps it true to form.
Many old English band have those roots.
The timing of the second fill you explain in detail is off. First single note should be an upstroke, like that:
|D-DUD-DU|D-DUD-DU|DUD-D-DU|Dududud-|
|A E |G D |D |D - fill - |
(D = Strum Down; U = Strum Up; - = Air stroke ; small letters for single notes played with a pick)
:)
Jan Chris tru-dat 😊
You got that right mein! thx cuz it was bothering me too
Good lesson but you strum way too loud all the time, no dynamics.
Why did not you tell me that you changed the tonalities of the guitar strings?
Great lesson. Awful fast tho...
Wrong
your c# m
to f#m. is incorrect my friend.
otherwise not bad rendition.
Wrong! In the D chord Jimmy takes of the indicator finger, and not pinky... cause is twelve strings guitar... so you don’t know about nothing kkkkk
