You, your ideas, your personality...& all the bling-y magic you create rejuvenates my excitement to CREATE!💖💗💖 These are all beautiful. But I must say, the richness of the sparkly, teal butterfly clustered with the shimmering silvery-ness is stunning!🤩Another home-run, my Dear!(an American baseball term😉) Ty for all of the joy you bring to us.💗 Blessings, from California.💙💙💙
These clusters are so pretty❤❤❤ and I enjoyed this tutorial. I watched it to the end. I love all your tutorials. I wished I lived next door to you so we can do crafting together.
Natasha, I have had recent issues (since the big Microsoft update) so I have not been able to get into my google account. Finally I got it today so I can comment. I want to tell you I LOVE your videos, your story, and your style. I am very grateful for all the work you put into these. I am fairly new to this craft. Tried Art Journals some years ago but never felt like they were good enough. You have given me the courage to try again but with less pressure on myself. Thank you so very much for all you do and you really make a difference in folks lives! You are a special person and are very appreciated.
“It’s all minor details so let’s not dwell”! This is the #1 lesson I need to learn bc I get so stuck on the minor things when it comes to my journaling - so I’m glad you said that! I love how you stress that it doesn’t really matter how we complete the tutorial that you’re doing in the video🩵 But goodness do I try to get my project just like yours 😂❤️
A million and one things are going through my mind right now. I bought a very large container of buttons recently at an estate sale and maybe a third of them were rusted. I have separated the good ones from the rested ones and this is the perfect project to put a rusty button on for a grungy Journal. I’m so glad I saw this before I threw them away. While dumpster diving. I found artificial plants that were supposed to go in an aquarium. And my mind jump to using those pretty blue and green leaves with a mermaid on top. It’s just amazing how you can inspire others to come up with their own take. Thank you so much for all of your great ideas.
HOLY MOLY ................. each cluster you put on table in start of video kept getting better and better as you placed them on table. Such beautiful creatively stunning clusters. As i watched you construct each one it registered in my mind what fabrics i have and how to use of them. Told my Mum i will live til i am 318 years old cuz that's how much crafting supplies i have !! Thank you so much for sharing these with us.
So many ways to go with this idea. I was thinking they'd make great Christmas cards (or non-Xmas cards, of course!). You could use lighter fabrics or paper with the lace, and a little Christmas image from an old card as the focal point, bits of tinsel...fabric might need a stitch or two onto cardstock to keep the corners from curling. You know what? I think I'm going to do that. This channel is the inspiration station, alright!
This is so timely! I just went to Michaels yesterday, there was a sale on holiday ribbon, buy two, get three for free! Every one I got will be perfect for this project! Thank you again for the inspiration ❤️❤️
Adorable! I have made clusters like these into brooches and decorated hair ties. They can be used for so many things! As always, thank you for the tutorial and for the inspiration.
Cute typo, Spicial. 🤭 Love, love, love this video. Bring out the scraps girl! ✂️✂️✂️ Not looking forward to our heatwave that's forecast, so can stay indoors with the AC on and make some of these goodies. 😍 sometimes we need to be crazy to stay sane. 🤪✂️🤭 Much love and cuddles to Banjo.🐕🤗🇦🇺💖
I have been watching you for well over a year and had to stop today and leave this comment! I found early on that though I loved the way many junk journals looked I hated all the glueing. I have been for many years a painter and sketch person. I have discovered you to be a HUGE inspiration for me in expanding and just joyful-izing....not a word I know, but it fits, my art journal practice. All the embellishments you demo can be used as spacers in my art journals to keep pages from sticking together. After all the waxing and powdering of pages some still want to get sticky with others but a beautiful cluster or little house or flower with maybe a cute or clingy dangle on it is the perfect way of preventing this. It's much prettier and more interesting than placing chunks of waxed paper between the pages. You're the true treasure in your talent for unique and economical use and reuse of so many things and I thank you!!🥰
First of all, thank you! Second, I love your invented word "joyfulizing" and thirdly, what a great idea to use them as spacers in your art journal!! Love it!
attach Alligator Clips to the back and put on Christmas Tree or Wreath 🌲🎅🎄 what a wonderful explosion of clusters - beautiful & inspiring - thank you xx
these fabric clusters are gorgeous! i love how you always start your videos by laying down all of your pieces! it is so exciting to see them all together. thanks so much for sharing these with us today. linda from california
Love this! Just received your book in the spiral bound edition. It was a bit more but so handy when I’m following directions for a project. It’s just a lot of fun!
OH MY GOODNESS, HOW BEAUITFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU MADE ME LAUGH WHEN YOU SAID, YOU PULL OUT ALL KINDS OF STUFF & MADE A MESS & WERE CRAZY W/IT. YES, I GET IT BECAUSE, THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS TO ME ALSO!!!! AND YES, ONE CAN SPEND, SOOOO MUCH TIME, JUST HUNTING, FOR SURE. Do take care. Fl., USA
you have such an eye. you seem to instinctively be able to pick the right scraps that look amazing togther. mine just tend to look a mess! I guess you either have it or you don't, lol. Thank you for sharing xx
just starting making junk journals since watching your videos. I only hope mine will look at gorgeous and interesting as yours - beautiful work. I've always loved paper and cutting out things - I get it from my Mom who lett me books and books of her cutouts of cute animals, flowers and her favorite recipes. I'm using them in my books I'm making for my granddaughters an daughters. I've collected things to DO CRAFTS with and now I finally have the way to use all of the things. Thanks for your wonderful tutorials.
These are so pretty. You always come up with the most marvelous ideas. The blue one would have been pretty with pink, not that it's not beautiful as is. I still see pink and blue Christmas paper and things with the shabby chic vibe.
Absolutely love this idea, I will get to it if only I could stop making the fabric hearts and butterflies you showed us a week or so ago, I am obsessed with them! Thank you Natasa!
Theyre soo beautifully textured and soo yummy ! Each and every single one layered to perfection 🥰 ❤ love how you explain your thought process behind each fabric piece ..tfs ! Hugs and blessings !! 🥰
I love the fact they are so big compared to most page or cover clusters. They make whatever they're put on seem much more extravagant! Merry Xmas by the way.🤩
Thank you Natasa. I love everything you make & all of the ideas that pop into my head while I watch you creating. I don’t have a large stash but I do have enough to work with I hope 😊
Such a wonderful tutorial! Your videos are so very informative and easy to understand. Unbelievable how you turn random and overlooked items into truly awesome clusters and embellishments. I have truly learned so much from watching your videos. Take care.
This video was so enjoyable to watch, Natasha. Thank you. Last week I spent a few days making a new supply of your cluster flowers out of gothic text and ink stained papers. I put in quite a few extra layers. I know i will be making these but with a twist. I don't make Christmas themed journals or ephemera either, but can see how these would enhance any gift or journal.Once again, thanks so much for your videos.
I don’t know anyone who can turn seemingly random bits and pieces into something that looks incredibly lush and expensive quite like you do. 😍
Hehe thank you!!!!
I completely agree! She’s a creating crazy woman 👍
