We're spending this holiday season paying tribute to the 55th anniversary of the theatrical release of The Sound of Music, which was released to initial theaters on March 2, 1965. As we near the end of December, we focus on star Julie Andrews, one of the entertainment industry's all-time best.
This interview with Julie Andrews on The Dick Cavett Show took place in 1971, and will be shown in three parts, including this segment where she is joined by her husband, film director Blake Edwards.
Television Vanguard viewers know that one of our favorite things is interviews with couples, and this Andrews-Edwards interviews is a really special one.
