So I took my seizure alert service dog with me to see the new star wars today and as I passed some kids I heard "look its a helper dog! Just like Mary and Ollie! Thats so cool!" Just thought it'd make you smile :)

I am so proud of your ability to remain upbeat and happy. I have a chronic condition and I know sometimes it is overwhelming. You are such a great family. Of course, that includes Ollie. He is just the best.

For the last week I have been having a gradual increase in anemia with symptoms of shortness of breath, weakness, fatigue, pain under my left rib, AND (the symptom I failed to mention to my doctors as I thought it was insignificant) NIGHT SWEATS!
I never knew night sweats would be a symptom of anything! I have had so many tests and ER visits this last week and just due to you mentioning the night sweats - I looked into it and I truly think I found the condition that is eating at me: Myelofibrosis - which is a bone marrow disorder that is an uncommon chronic form of Leukemia.
I will followup with this when I find out more, but Mary, I think you just presented my answer I'd been looking for. THANK YOU!
My anemia is just getting worse and I have had so many tests that are coming up with no answers. I already have two rare conditions, why not add a third? LOL (dark humor, I'm sorry!

So glad you guys showed these treats. A lady at a table at a doggie event I went to here in Boston has these. My chihuahua has very few teeth so we gave her tiny pieces and she loved them. I had completely forgotten the name of the treats until now, these are them! You guys should do a Christmas album or release some songs together with the ukulele next year.
My family has a dog who needs a lot of stimulation and one of the things that we do is to put a treat under a plastic cup (like a Solo cup) and then have 2-3 other ones with nothing under them. We shuffle them all around and then he has to find it. It seems to really help him get out some mental energy. :)

Service dogs are awesome. We got a service dog (he's in training) for my son. My son and I are on the autism spectrum. He helps both of us. At a family gathering today I got overwhelmed and he popped up on me and gave me deep pressure therapy and started distracting me so I'd calm down. I'm so glad you have Ollie boy. He's an amazing dog.

I related so much to what you talked about a few vlogs ago, I haven't really had much of an appetite at all for the past few days (only eating when I'm actually starving and even then its just a shake) I've found that all I can do is turn on some nice music (come thou fount has actually been my jam lately) and not thinking about it. The anxiety/exhaustion of not feeling in control can be a lot sometimes. I'm praying for you!! Your vlogs really brighten my day!

You're so right with the tegaderms Mary. I am sensitive to chloroprep so I can't keep it on, I have to use it and then the alcohol swabs to wipe it off or I'll get a rash. But I definitely clean really far around the area my dressing will be or it does not stick well at all! I just alcohol like crazy but otherwise mine starts to come up on the edges just like you showed and that drives me insane! Port pet peeves!

It is good you are getting such good treatment. Infectious disease doctors are so good in finding out the organisms. It is better to stay in the hospital and to go home to soon and have to be readmitted. You guys are doing so well. Mary you are doing so good.

The one treat you pulled out is what we used for our almost 20 year old dachshund who is now in advanced kidney disease so we arnt allowed to use them anymore due to high protein but we still get them for our others and oh man do tey love them
