Dude, this was honestly an AWESOME video to relive the gaming year of 2000, as well as a few pop-culture references…but more importantly, your personal memories of gaming that year. I know I’m in the minority, but I loved Majora’s Mask and its time mechanic haha. I can’t wait for part 2, and onward for this series!

I was an April 94’ baby so I don’t have much memory of gaming then. But what I do remember is being gifted an ancient Lenovo thinkpad labtop by my grandma. Literally the only game I got to work was roller coaster tycoon, and it was not until very recently I figured out it was because the madman coded it in assembly. I had an N64 but so few games, I mostly rented on awesome Friday nights. My mom accidentally bought goemons great adventure, I fuckin sucked at it and it’s a great game in hindsight but I tried. And then finally on my 10th birthday large extended family combined to get a ps2 for me and my brother. And it was game over, I mostly remember playing kingdom hearts and ratchet and clank. I know no one gives a fuck but my memory is terrible and going through all this from time to time helps me not lose everything.
I spent so many hours playing Roller Coaster Tycoon on the family PC back then as well. I absolutely loved it! And I feel ya, I’ll always remember when I got the PS2. It was amazing and still my favorite console to this day. Really appreciate you watching and sharing!
It was just so different from gaming today. Which I love some modern games, but for me being the age I was in the early 2000’s influenced so much in gaming for me. 2001 coming up was an incredible year also..

gaming in 2000 cannot be rated or understood by people who did not live it. nothing else to say, exept modern games are absolute trash.
