  • Covers introspection and the work of Wilhelm Wundt. Also a timeline chronicling the birth of psychology as we know it today and the emergence of psychology as a science and 4 evaluation points.
    Ideal for first time learning and revision.

    It has come up as a 10 marker since, I found it in one of the exam papers - so beware a large mark question could come up this year!

      Yeesh. A 16 marker on approaches would be terrible, at least for me. Good luck to those sitting their exams this year.

    in the exam could we be asked a question on the timeline specifically?

    • @smcartledge2723
      @smcartledge2723  Рік тому +3

      It's unlikely.
      The timeline is more to give you an idea of the journey that psychology has been on to get where it is now.
      You could get a question on paradigm shifts, in which case it is helpful to know that psychology has gone through several over the years and to know where it started compared to where it is now.

    Can this ( origins of psychology including : Wundt, introspection& emergence of psychology as a science) come up as a 16 marker or would it come up as an 8 marker at max? Please respond, thanks!

      it came up as an 8 marker in 2019 as 'outline and evaluate wundt's role in the emergence of psychology as a science'

      @msm2581 Рік тому +1

      Yeah, I realised there was AO3 in the textbook for that section so was unsure if it could come up (as a potential 16 marker) since there’s not much AO1 but glad it didn’t show up on paper 2.
      Thank you for your reply though& all the best in paper 3 if you’re sitting it ✌️
