Unique Breakfast at Blue Heaven in Key West, Florida

- Blue Heaven is one of the most unique dining experiences in Key West. Located in the Bahama Village, it features a tropical outdoor dining area, live entertainment, chickens wandering about, and a great atmosphere. I had the pecan pancakes and the Key Lime pie, and was absolutely blown away by both of them.

I think the law prevents fresh butter being used due to sanitary/safety conditions (spoils). And I hate these packets. Nothing worse than getting a frozen butter packet and the butter doesn't melt.

Looks real good, meringue (mer-ang) is what is on your pie, made from whipped egg whites and sugar, then popped in the oven just long enough to brown the top.
AK♥️♥️♥️♥️what a unique spot to take us to. The pancakes / pie look so good. Went on google to read about them. Saw the menu where u ordered the pancakes and now have recipe for their key lime pie. That topping looked like meringue due to its stiffness. Making their key lime pie actually a lime-meringue pie. Plus you said it wasn't tart and much sweeter, which makes sense. You've never had lemon meringue pie?
It was meringue looking at it now, I just wasn't familiar with it. I don't remember the last time I've even had it!
@@ActionKidExtra You should try lemon meringue pie, it's the same as you had in the video, but with a jelled lemon bottom. Can be sweet or sour.

That "keylime" pie looks like lemon meringue pie and the meringue is made from egg whites and other things!! Hey they have chickens so they probably get plenty of eggs!!
