Eating at Blue Heaven Restaurant in Key West, Florida | Best Tomato Ever & Huge Key Lime Pie

- In today's video, we had a suggestion to eat at a restaurant in Key West, Florida called Blue Heaven. Blue Heaven is a unique restaurant in Key West that actually ties back to Hemingway. His wife at the time, took his boxing ring to where the Blue Heaven is currently located. There was a little bit of a wait to get in to the Blue Heaven, but they had a very nice time tracker so you had a good estimate of when it was your time. We really wanted to try the lobster grilled cheese but it was so expensive so we just stayed with the grilled cheese and tomato sandwich and also the black bean soup. We have to say that it all tasted very well but the tomato was the best tomato we have ever had. We got free Key Lime pie because our order was messed up. However, it was really good Key Lime pie so we were thankful for that! The gift shop was big and also had a lot of good stuff in it. This was a good little restaurant in Key West. One of the very best Breakfast places in all of Florida! It has a remarkable Old Town Key West charm! Outdoor eating with the sublime cats and chickens running around you! Extremely reasonable prices for an amazing culinary experience!

Playwright Tennessee Williams had a house in Key West..he’s, my fav writer, lots of creative juices all around, love to visit but it’s really gotten expensive…It is a COOL place to be. The ceiling in Sloppy Joes used to be covered in parachutes used in ww2… also, home of the Key Lime pie ! Used to pay $ 6.00 for a whole pie ! Probably want get back there again, sadly. ❤Joan
Someone there had mentioned that he had a home there! Oh wow! The ceiling would have been really cool to see! That is so cheap for a pie! Wish it was that cheap now. If you can make it back out there sometime, it is worth it!
My favorite breakfast spot hands down. I've been to key west many times even stayed for 2 weeks once, but i always go to blue heaven for breakfast and key lime pie at least once per trip.
We need to try the breakfast next time. Pancakes are good there? Key lime pie was great!

When we went to Vegas for 3 days, the only thing we got to eat was a grilled cheese sandwich and we split that. We went there on the money I won online gambling.
Oh wow! That is all you had to eat the three days? We enjoy Vegas!
