I would like the replica field marshal set from pvp. Internet sources say its only obtainable from rated battle grounds. Has this changed with dragon flight?
I’ve been playing WoW since vanilla in 2004 and I can tell the older I get the slower I get in responding to PvP. My old man brain can’t keep up with you young kids these days. All that being said, I never give up and I’m never too old to keep learning, thank you Skill Cap for providing a good resource to players like me. 😊
Luckily "or unfortunately" there aren't too many young bucks picking up WOW as their main game now a days. You are posted likely playing with a sea of other old school gamers
@@Potalot89usmc - Maybe it’s just the people I run with then. Im pushing 50 and most of the folks I play with are in their 20’s & 30’s. Anyway, I’ll still be playing this game when my kids put me in the old folks home haha.
These tips address exactly the problems I've had. Much good info here. I notice I've implemented some of these auras for myself already. Solo Shuffle has done a lot of good to my UI awareness. One of my biggest problems was low arena play time since my partner is quite busy. I wasn't used to checking all the information showing up on arena matches and missed almost all of it. Now after doing some solo, I've started to understand the UI better. Sometimes I actually notice casts and buffs in time. With a little more training I'll be able to read indicators without stopping my dps (which people have not been very pleased about to the point where I had to hide the chat window =).
trading cds right, so if i premptively use obsidian scales and renewing blaze when my healers is CCed and mitigate as much damage as possible i should survive till the CC falls fo right? well the amount of times I've died with my defensive and healers major CDs up through 2% dampening is crazy haha. Even if you trade correctly you can still just die no matter what
I don't think you "NEED" ANY addon's aside from like gladius. I got glad in xpacs past and I got over 2800 with no add-ons except gladius and Quartz cast bar. I think really it's just a matter of legitimately getting good and learning to pay some damn attention and actually learn and know what you're doing and what you're reacting to rather than just having some add-on tell you shit.
wat do i do when i make a new alt to try dps since im a heal main, and my healer says enjoy ur 2-4 and go's afk after i wait 40 minute q? i think unsub. it must be a me issue ive been 3k+ many times but i cant beat that skill gap
You have to learn how to play whatever class it is you're trying to dps on. Recognize what you are doing wrong and work on that. If you can only play healers then it is a me issue. Healing is way different than damage role. If you've been 3k+ im sure you can learn how to be a dps.
@@fiercewid i mean ive been 24 on quite a few dps we just dont count 24 as real xp lol. its good enough for these low mmr lobbies. i think my point didnt come across well
They should ban all this nonsense in arenas, its like the dbm for dungeons, unfortunate you have to use these just to compete, i dont use addons for pvp and im a steady 1600 to 1800 player and im ok with that only having played for a total of 4 years and pvping since the end of shadowlands.
There's no guide for a DK and a Warrior battering you as hunter with shitty healers. No matter how guides, times, Defensive cds...Nothing. Just death in 30 to 1 minute. Then when you fight those bastard healers they just heal like a god.

Thats where you have to rely on your game knowledge more. Wow is alot more dependant on game knowledge then reaction time.
Actually is not about age ,is just about getting used to it , i had the same problem when i started arenas but with time i get used

I just use a weakaura that shows me when my healer is cc’d, what cc they are effected by, and the remaining duration.
