As a Great, Great, Grandson of George Coley, it is truly amazing to see this boat sailing. Thank you so much for posting the video. I look forward to showing it to my dad.

George Coley was George Clayton Jr's great grandfather.

@@evelynclay my great grandmother was Mary Coley Minton who married Charles Minton of Red Bank. My father moved to CA which is where I grew up.

My grandfather had an A class iceboat in Michigan, called the Gossoon. We have no video of it, but this really gave me an idea of what it must have been like to sail. What a monster! So Cool.

so - the "rudder" is a blade also? Never saw a good shot of tiller -rudder being employed. Looks like a hell of a fun ride!!

Holeeee moley, she can fly! My family had a cute little launch built in Brooklyn in 1898 and in continuous operation since then (we sold her about four years ago to a neighbor). This is the only boat older than her that I've seen in quite a while. Very cool.

Absolutly fantastic. After 100 years off the ice and 10 years of restoration, to hell with a trial run - ring it out, hike it up, and sail it like you stole it. WOW!!!!

Very nice boat. Look at the screw unwinding by the vibration at 3:28. :O

I want to hear the sailing without the music.
