I have done that too. Caught myself putting 3 strand on a 14 count. I have this Christmas Nativity kit. Hard for me to do 14 count. I prefer 11 count.

I do right to left usually from bottom right corner. I stitch in hand sewing method. Originally learned my style from Luda a stitcher from Ukraine she has an English UA-cam and a Ukrainian one.

Hiiiii Janice. I work from right to left. I roll it up side ways so it is easier to handle. When I stitch depends on my mood sometimes cross country, sometimes by colour❤️❤️❤️ But always right to left or up and down in sewing method (in the section I am busy with❤️❤️🥰🥰
