Had that bug crop up with the wolf carcass in the Milton cave leading to the prepper cache just a few weeks ago,
    awesome run continues, GG

1:25:07 That would have to be one very talented wolf. 😂 That carcass seems to always be here now since they moved it. The dam has so many easy deer carcasses in the immediate area around it, I always use it and the ravine as the place where I cure the materials and craft my deer and rabbit gear and first bow.

Haha, what was I thinking? I was already committed to going back in the dam so even if a wolf started up the path it shouldn't matter.
I was thinking about dipping into Ravine for more deer carcasses, can't remember exactly why I decided against it. Speed maybe?

I don't think the wolves can even detect you on that side because they can't path to it.

Arc, to mention "unlucky" when talking about deer meat amounts being small, after your amazing start, I think you should just call it paying the bill for good early RNG

      Haha true! Relatively speaking :)
Actually this got me thinking about how much of this is luck vs skill:
Spawn: ridiculously good for health and tools, although no-health-loss spawns are available in CH, DP, BI, and there are plenty of nearly-perfect spawns.
Clothing: Pretty amazing to get the double TWS and Aviator Cap this early, without much searching. Everything else mediocre/expected but best-in-slot is all guaranteed or crafted from here anyway!
Weather: I'd have to rewatch but I think it's been pretty nice overall in the critical noon-midnight travel window.
I think that's about it. Overall I'd say quite lucky :) especially since luck early in a run is the best kind due to the snowball effect.

@@ArchimedesLP I completely agree that luck is always part of the equation.
It is would be interesting, if possible, that Hinterland could add an extra layer to the custom runs menu, that would allow for less luck and more set amount of loot, weather, wild life, to create a level playing field for the use in custom challenges.
This way the TLD community could really create a challenge to test ones skills versus luck. Enjoying the run

@@kirksteven4316 I thought you were going to say "add a luck option to custom" 🤣🤣🤣 can you imagine? set it to "very low" and blizzards always start 10 minutes after you leave a structure, your firestarts/mending fail a lot more, etc. :P

That would be a very interesting way to play, call it chaos settings,
      🤣🤣🤣

I didn't watch the first 2/3 of this one too closely, so I don't really have any comments yet. You're almost at the dam now though, so there may be more coming. 😂
