This was a good review, and agree with the ＷOUXUN KG-UV9D Plus being number one. I own the Yaesu FT-5DR and the KG-UV9D Plus, and the ＷOUXUN is the best hand held I have ever own.

The Kenwood th f7e/f6a was imho a lot better than all these handhelds, especially because it has a wide range receiver (lw/mw/sw/uhf/vhf and up to 1300mhz) and was able to receive in all the modes on all the bands. No handheld is able to do that nowadays (?).
The name of the video ISN'T: "Best CHEAP Handheld Radios 2023". You named it: BEST Handheld Radios 2023. The ID-52 blows all the radios in your list away! Personally I would rate the IC-T10 better than the FT-65R, and Baofeng doesn't belong in any "Best" list, unless the list is called 'best CCR'. And since your list includes a DMR radio, also missing from your "Best" list is the R7. And since 2023 isn't over yet, all the radios on your list will be surpassed by the ID-50 and possibly the TH-D75 - IMO. And why bother with an FT-65R when you could have more fun by putting that money toward a VX-6R or FT-70DR? The only people who will like this list will be those seeking affirmation to get a Wouxun or Baofeng. The only thing I might agree with you on is the AT-D878UVII Plus appropriately being in 5th place. But good luck with your 'Not So Best' - Best list.

If you are going to have the best of something then it is already understood that it isn't going to be cheap. Now if your video was named the most affordable ham radio then this list would be spot on. I have the ID-52 and use it daily and it blows all these other radios on your list out of the water. It is by far one of the if not the best ham radio you can currently get.

OpenHT is the best one. Truly all mode. It's even TETRA ready.
I think it is way over due to having LiFe-Po4 batteries for better duty cycles.
