We get asked a lot about how to install Malice Clips which we use to attach all of our pouches. If you haven't used them before it can be a bit tricky. In this video, we show you the right way to use them to attach all your MOLLE pouches.

Time wise, yea, slow is accurate and seems pretty typical. That was for my carrier itself. Plates were robbed out of the box during shipping but Desiree was a sweetheart of an angel and squared the issues away! I’m still waiting on my plates…4 of them… but my tourniquet and carrier, mag pouches were BAM at my door!!! I’m pleased with AR but DANG, can SOMEONE please design a more complicated attachment system!!??😮😂😂
That's a great demonstration. I drove myself nuts the first time I used molle, but the malice clips make it a lot easier!
I just bought two admin pouch and tourniquet holder sets. Saw the malice clips and had somewhat of an idea how to attach them. This video was spot on! Thank you.

What makes this better than the standard MOLLE straps? I can see the snap button failing for the MOLLE strap, but I have a pouch with the same retention part as the MALICE, and it wore out way faster than my standard snap buttons. Would like to see a test to failure side by side :)

Now I know why I wasn't figuring out how to attach things to my Testudo! I purchased individual carryouts (the ones that I needed/wanted) not their bundled options. I didn't get any malice clips (except with the IFAK). Dang it!
On a positive note: I received my entire $800 order WELL ahead of their anticipated ship date 😉

Any chance you’d be able to do a quick video with the pistol holster? I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or if it is just never going to sit as nice and tight as I was able to get both the mag pouches?

@@cmo8114 a full plate carrier, with 2 coated level 3 plates, velcro double rifle mag pouch, velcro double pistol mag pouch, and velcro universal pistol holster for $250 on one of the many sales they have. Arrived in 2 weeks. Yeah, what a ripoff huh. Best deal I came across in a good while.

This doesn't work with the smaller clips
Most flexible Malice clips I've ever seen. Meanwhile, mine look like they were made to attach armor plate to tanks. Down to the last row of webbing and considering going to One Wrap before I go postal on some innocent bystander.

The strap has "Push tab to open" written on it. It should say "use pocket knife to open". This company makes good stuff but there are some things that could be thought out a little better.

Once in a while I'll get an email from them saying it will be a couple more weeks after another month passes by. They have no organizational structure with their lead times.

If I were you, abort. This company is fraud. They lost my package for a month I then demanded a refund and wow it’s on my front door with an express shipping sticker on it 🤦♂️there were no lead times on any of my 3 items.

@@mpkid5 bud ar500 is known even by cops as being a fraud company. I would buy it from RMA or Mira safety. That’s why I have always bought my stuff ahead of time. It took them 1 month to get me some magazine MOLLE holders and an abdomen cover. Just the cover no plates. There was ZERO lead time and they said that Fed ex lost it and that they couldn’t refund me because it shipped. What kind of bullshit is that!? If THEIR carrier lost it and I’m without product then give me my damn money back. Biggest headache of my life.
I would love a "why run a guardian plate carrier" video. I've looked for videos on it and have only found a few poor quality videos or reviews of the micro.
I received my mag pouch with the malice clip today. I guess that i am doing something wrong. The clips don't snap into place. Got them weaved through but wont snap.
So they aren't locking in place? They usually don't click into place very loud. The best way to check whether or not the clips are locked is to try and pull the two sides apart. If they come apart, then they are not locked and likely need to be pushed together a little harder.
Hey I followed this video for the admin pouch which came with the malice clips, but the longer ones you all sent me are about and inch too long and either make the pouch sag a large bit or the clip ends hang down and get in the way of my mag pouches. and the shorter ones you all sent are too short to be used effectively for it, is there an in between size or is there only the two?
Yeah, NO KIDDING! These are WAY TOO short to be “weaving in and out”..what a terrible system!
Having a similar issue with the dump pouch.

AR500 aromor can you guys do a video on your valkyrie carrier? almost no videos about your top priced carrier.
It's a lot more secure to interlace the strips between the attachment and the carrier. It's held closer to the carrier too. Bit of a pain, but once done, it ain't going anywhere, no jiggle noise either.

These clips are a pain in the ass. Especially with my AR Invictus carrier. I’m pretty certain esstac gave me malice clips that were too short
They’re not too short. The short ones suck a lot to install. Just take your time and use a tiny screwdriver to help feed it through the molle. I just installed the esstac shortys on my invictus!

I bought your Testudo carrier with everything. WHAT size Malice clip do I use to attach the universal hand gun carrier? I’ve been trying the small clips but my neighbors and I can’t figure it out.

How do you install the double pistol mag on the vest ??
Use the short ones, but instead of going all the way through the straps initially, go through the next to last and weave from there...worked for me

After calling this system Stupid and getting a hold of AR500 Customer Service, I can now say I'm the idiot and anyone having issues with the clip staying together is doing it wrong. Also, the ones saying the clips are too short, are doing it wrong as well lol.
Hint: If you're trying to clip it together like a circle/loop, you're doing it wrong lol.
MBTech please help me then 😂 I’ve tried mounting the pistol holster my pistol mags and my QDIFAK and I can’t get it for the life of me. Lots of frustration so if you can enlighten me on how to properly secure them that would be fantastic!
How do you put your AR500 hydration pack on your AR500 Plate Carrier?
How many clips should I be useing for the AR500 3 pouch multi caliber pouches on a Valkyrie carrier? Also having issues installing the kangaroo in the pouch behind them? It can’t hold 3 P mags properly with the kangaroo inserted… I’m so use to the old Molle system, maybe this is a rookie mistake? Or maybe because I don’t have plates in the carrier yet things are not sitting correctly?
i ordered a couple vests on your bogo sale, 1 was the loadout option it came with some of these, 3 shorter ones and 2 longer ones. but i dont see on your site where i can order more of those? btw love the products very happy with purchases

Anybody have issues of the clips not actually snapping into place? I can lift the tab and slide them in but any slight pull they just come right out. Could be crappy batch?
Hmm... And you're making sure to slide clip in all the way? If it is a defective batch, you can contact our customer service team and we should be able to get you some replacements.

Mine are doing the same thing, barely lift the tab to get it to slide in but there’s no “click” and they easily pull out

How do you use the malice clips for the pistol mag pouches? I can’t do them the same way you did with the rifle pouches, they’re too short
It should be the same process for the pistol mag pouches. Are the MALICE clips or the mag pouches too short?

Sounds good. Also, we have found that if you ignore/skip the bottom row of MOLLE on the pistol mag pouch, the MALICE clips work much better.
I bought the triple pistol pouch and it comes with a much shorter MALICE strap. How do you apply the straps? They don’t seem to reach🤷🏿♂️ I must be doing something wrong
Excellent question.
On the reverse side of the pouch you will notice there are 4 rows of MOLLE.
You will only use 3 rows to mount.
This means you can mount the pouch lower by using the top 3 rows of MOLLE, or mount the pouch higher, but using the bottom 3 rows of MOLLE.
The MALICE clip will only come up short if you are trying to use all 4 rows.

How in the devils name do you get the pistol holsters woven on the upper section? I don't seem to have enough slack to clip it in
These things are nearly impossible to install. After watching this video multiple times and trying to attach my gear to my carrier multiple times, I threw them away. I'll use WTF clips, One-Wrap or Molle straps.

Once you have these securing what ever it is to your plate carrier or pack, you can forget about readjusting or moving the item; because these clips will not loosen without malice....
That's right, they are designed to not be easily moveable so that they are in place during combat.

The short clips don't seem to work with the triple pistol mag pouch. Can only weave through one strap on my plate carrier.

@@kennethrussell5604 The Veritas plate carrier I ordered in November had a defect (which I saw when I received it in March). I sent an email for an RMA in March and received a reply in May (eight weeks later), and I just got my replacement today (July 2nd, seven weeks after email reply).
So, they are very, very slow right now, but they are responding to and fixing issues (at least in my case); it just requires saint level patience (or apathy) as a consumer.
I presume that with a federal body armor ban bill drafted and the recent civil unrest, these wait times will only get worse.

Got triple mag pouch.. and I'm pretty sure I got packaged the wrong length malice clips..
This is borderline ridiculous. The pouches (admin AND tourniquet both)are decent and built well, but at a minimum the malice clips I got TODAY are WAAAAY too short to weave like that..it’s not happening.

These clips are absolute trash. The ones I got will not stay clipped and you can literally just pull the mag pouch off.

Ohh you're talking about Whisky Two Four, right? The difference between their clips and MALICE clips are minimal. They have different locking mechanisms, and the WTF clips are made from a slightly more flexible material. Other than that, the clips are very similar.

Not particularly. Ours are just a tad bit cheaper, but both are high quality and will do the job well
I bought two AR500 setups and NOTHING was sent in the way of how these clips work. So Frustrating. Spent the day trying to figure out how these are set up. Add instructions to your products, please.

Why not just add Velcro instead of us doing the work?
Velcro does not adequately secure pouches to the plate carrier. The MALICE clips really do great job of keeping the pouches in place on the carrier.

These are pretty standard MOLLE clips. True, there are MOLLE clips that utilize Velcro or snap closures, but the concept is the same. This definitely isn't something that we came up with and it's definitely not new.

Mostly people that have never worked with MOLLE accessories before. It can be confusing learning how to work with MOLLE and MOLLE clips because of how pouches and things are weaved onto the carrier.
