Whoever is in charge of recording these artists in his studio deserves a raise. They do such an incredible job of balancing everything, at least to just a regular guy like me. Makes it not feel like a tiny studio or shitty live TV recording, but more like a real live concert. These are awesome, keep it up.
Sounds good, except for the drums. That drummer is a good drummer, but he's not good for the Crowes. They NEED Steve Gorman just as much as they need Chris & Rich. New guitarist is solid though!
I'm a Steve Gorman fan too, and I'd be pissed if he wanted to be there and was dis-invited.... but I don't think he wanted to be there, he's got his new Sports show thing and I think he's moved on. Can't wait to read his book!! That said, I must also say that this drummer swings hard, IMO he is playing the tunes really great, and it sure sounds like the Crowes to me!!!!
18 👎🏻?!?!? WTF are y’all trippin on? This $hit is off the hook!! Lovin this reunion already and they haven’t even settled in yet. This tour is gonna shock/surprise the masses. You heard it here first!🤘🏻💯🤘🏻
They did. However they're laughing because Rich messed up his guitar line. You can see him recover at 04:10 from playing way up the neck. His brother immediatly caught him and they both laughed.
I have now been going to concerts for 40 years since I was 14 and dad took me to Kiss. In 40 years I have seen every body from metal to Janet Jackson to Smokey Robinson to Tina Turner to Prince (still best concert I have ever saw) to Luciano Pavotitte. And seen these guys several times. Many of the bands I have followed for decades and over the years people's voices go as well as their sound. But these guys still sound incredible. And glad to see Chris got rid of the homeless look. He is looking good again.
Got my introduction to The Black Crowes via cassette tape, by way of a care package my sister sent to me during the Operation Desert Shield portion of that deployment. 29 Years Gone, and it seems like...poof... just yesterday.
The mix in Howard's studio are always SO ON POINT. No matter who's in there. Metallica was in there and it was one of my fave performances. I wish NiN would play up in there, that would be epic.
I'm probably going to pay a lot of money to see the Isaiah Mitchell play with some guys who used to be in the Black Crowes. And it will be totally worth it.
I have to admit I’d never heard of the guitar player Isaiah Mitchell, but that dude is perfect for the Black Crowes. The drummer needs to use the fat end of his sticks though! Glad I got my tickets.
I have followed their entire career from the start. Saw them live in a theater in support of the second album. By far one of the best at what they do. We r all getting older, damn good to see & hear these 2 brothers still playing rock & soul. ✌🏻😎🤘🏻
my parents tell me that we adopted my first dog (named banjo) from Marc Ford. or the family of Marc Ford. . . I would honestly kill for confirmation on this
Back in the day Rich had the loudest guitar stage volume I'd ever heard. He even had subs connected to his guitar rig. It would shake the stage like you can't imagine, and take your head clean off if you walked by his amps. It was an incredible experience. From what I hear, it's calmed down, but only a little. Glad to see these guys are still rocking.
Dear Howard Yes i feel better just listening to your wonderful production. What do you tink about Dua Lipa. i love her message. Don`t Start NOW. she has beautful teeth and hair in the face of danger. Am 60 yrs old. When will she be beaming on your show. Thank You. DARLENE
Do you guys remember in mid 2018 when this little band called “As The Crowe Flies” came to the surface? They need that band back together with Rich. No Marcus King. Nothing against Marcus, I personally think he’s better than any Crowes guitarist that was ever in the band. BUT every member has been in the actual Black Crowes. They had the vibe. I think “As The Crowe Flies” + Rich Robinson would be IDEAL!!!!!

The Black Crowes still rock 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
they still sound incredible.
Rich is such an underated rhythm guitarist. Dude just feels it.
his voice sounds like it's 1993 again!
I didn’t appreciate these guys back in the day. I sure do now. They’re amazing!
Otis would be proud. These guys are still bringing it!
Wow, a historic moment there...I actually saw Rich smiling during a song!!!
OMG..I have tears of joy..bloody amazing...Roninson Bros back together at last..yeeehhhhh!!..just need a new Crowes album now..GOD Bless em 🎸🤘🎸🤘🇬🇧
Only a reunion with Gorman and Ford. Chris---pick up the f'n phone !
Great stuff. My dad used to pump these guys all the time when I was a kid. That album is epic.
And that's why your Dad is 1 cool dude
Miss Gorman’s swing on the kit.
but their current band they sounds really good to me.
@@peterbicker8389 band's good, drummer's good, but the opener on this one was tame.
Sounds good, except for the drums. That drummer is a good drummer, but he's not good for the Crowes. They NEED Steve Gorman just as much as they need Chris & Rich. New guitarist is solid though!
New drummer doesn't hit near hard enough. That was Gorman- swing and power.

Don't be too harsh though friend.
they sound really good though. Especially the guitar player he is really solid and sounds really good.
wow rich robinson smiled
Lol! I saw that, too!
18 👎🏻?!?!? WTF are y’all trippin on? This $hit is off the hook!! Lovin this reunion already and they haven’t even settled in yet. This tour is gonna shock/surprise the masses. You heard it here first!🤘🏻💯🤘🏻
OMFG. I have my tickets for Houston, celebrating 30 years with my misses with the brothers Robinson. God bless the Black Crowes.
An absolutely awesome cover, one of the best rock´n´roll bands ever and one from their, without any doubt, best album SYMM :-)
Fantastic!! I love this fuc.... Rock n roll band ! ! Old schooll !!
The Crowes are SWINGING baby. Yeah yeah yeah. Music lives.
Gd that lead guitar player is incredible, who is that
You can tell this felt good for the band. You can see it on their faces at the end. They slayed it. Nice.
They did. However they're laughing because Rich messed up his guitar line. You can see him recover at 04:10 from playing way up the neck. His brother immediatly caught him and they both laughed.
They need to get old drummer back

They sound great...vocals straight killin
Chris sounds so awesome.
The Black Crowes still rock 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Chris sounds so awesome.
Rich is such an underated rhythm guitarist. Dude just feels it.
Was expecting a trainwreck but goddamn, the brothers still got it! (Dunno who those session musicians with em are though.)
I'm smiling so hard right now!
*The ending did bring a tear to my eye

Where os the backing girls vocals?
They sound great after 30 years. I cant wait to see them play this summer in July in Raleigh, NC!!🎵🎸🎶
Black Crowes is simply the best!! an Otis redding
Money makes unfriends n unbrothers
2019
Marc Ford, anyone???
I have to admit I’d never heard of the guitar player Isaiah Mitchell, but that dude is perfect for the Black Crowes.
The drummer needs to use the fat end of his sticks though!
Glad I got my tickets.
Seriously.... where's the big "Like" button? Please, help me, the regular one is not enough!!
Awesome lead guitar!!
Love everything about them and can’t wait to see them again. I’ll be right up front dancing away.
I feel like that was the first time I've seen them enjoy playing together.
They recorded in a Studio in Nashville close to Nolensville Rd. I remember seeing them there when I was a kid.
Baba booey baba booey
Rich: Just let me grab this quarter-million dollar guitar beside me and we'll rip into it!
No dude, this sort of Goldtops you can get for a tenth of what yer thinking off. Yer talking about '59/'60 burst prices, which these guitars are not!
I have followed their entire career from the start. Saw them live in a theater in support of the second album. By far one of the best at what they do. We r all getting older, damn good to see & hear these 2 brothers still playing rock & soul. ✌🏻😎🤘🏻
It's great to see them together again
Killed it!
Tim Lefebvre is freakin awesome
Sure can be hard working with brothers. Competition steps in money recognition. I've only seen my brother once in 25years because
my parents tell me that we adopted my first dog (named banjo) from Marc Ford. or the family of Marc Ford. . . I would honestly kill for confirmation on this
New guitarist is 'kin awesome. I did love Mark Fords playing on those albums but this guys just as good!! Top stuff...
They sound surprisingly well.
Rich looks constantly like he's looking for trouble instead of enjoying life...
Hot to handle, Chris.
PERSONNEL:
Isaiah Mitchell: Lead Guitar
Tim Lefebvre: Bass
Joel Robinow: Keys
Raj Ojha: Drums
Chris sounds so awesome.
Great stuff. My dad used to pump these guys all the time when I was a kid. That album is epic.
I'm pleased that they have made up but the line up isn't the same without Steve or Marc or Jackie or Sven or Luther.
They need Marc Ford....
🤘
Done brung it 🤙
To sound this good at 9 am is pretty impressive even for these 2 legends
This is literally amazing!!!
Read Steve Gorman's great BC autobiography 'Hard to Handle' to get the record straight.
I always claimed that the crowes were never getting back together, but damn am I sure glad I was wrong!
Otis would be proud. These guys are still bringing it!
Rich is such an underated rhythm guitarist. Dude just feels it.
love how the bass(player) smiling in :D fantastic groove
Tim Lefebvre is a bad motherfucker of a bassist.
So great to see them back together! Cannot wait for them to come to Memphis.
Closest tour stop is unfortunately either Nashville or St. Louis

Brad McCollum I can handle an excuse to go to Nashville 😎
The Earthless Crowes....😎
No mention of the Grateful Dead?
Damn they still sound great! I have to go see them this year!
The new guitarist isn't faking the funk.
The only band I've seen in concert 3 times! Incredible every time.
Glad to see these guys are still rocking.
the grateful dead did a good cover of it too, pig pen sang it. i always thought the crowes might have gathered a little bit of this song from them.
I'm so happy! I thought all these songs would only be played as covers. I love the Crowes!!!!!
Keep uploading this shit!
I love this shit. I want some more. :-p
Dear Howard Yes i feel better just listening to your wonderful production. What do you tink about Dua Lipa. i love her message. Don`t Start NOW. she has beautful teeth and hair in the face of danger. Am 60 yrs old. When will she be beaming on your show. Thank You. DARLENE
Great band.. Wish they'd have played the solo as it should be though, and seemingly not improvised. Love that solo!
Me too! (without the #)
