Roast this game in a pan or open fire if you want, but we're all have to admit that the plot is better than "Eco-bussinessman can't wait until tomorrow to stop disaster that's going to happen 1k years later."
People seem to overlook that the one day wasn't about Eternatus. It was about LEON. Or more to the point it was about Rose's ego. If Leon lost the championship, then Rose's precious champion wouldn't be the hero, so Rose himself wouldn't be the hero.
These were the moments that brought me around to the game and the bugginess and glitches stopped mattering. That and “You’re talking a lot of smack for someone in Gigaton Hammer range.”
preach it. while the issues are many, and it’s certainly not to be excused, the game does such a great job in the story department that sometimes you can just… forget all about it.
Same for me. When I started I assumed that the story was a bit too lighthearted, but the individual story paths really made me feel for the characters, and even got super real for Arven near the end. I just wish there was more screen time for the gym leaders, feels like they have really interesting lives outside the gym. Guess I'll have to wait for the anime. And yeah, Tinkaton's amazing (tho I'm a bit more biased towards Pawmot, been so long since I liked having an electric rodent.)

Mabosstiff and Arven are the representation of those of us that have lost pets in our lives that tried to do our best to either get them better or spend as much time with them before their passing.
Damn it, I knew I was gonna watch someone react to the true motive of Arven seeking out the Herba Mystica, but I still couldn't hold back the tears. It touches my heart so much. I'm so glad that most if not everyone who plays Scarlet & Violet came together to agree that we'd help Arven's dog Mabosstiff.
This is exactly why I'm so confused at how low the game is being rated, I get that the bugs/performance is bad but the story has been AMAZING compared to past Pokemon stories
The bandwagon is that it sucks because graphics are everything. The people whining about graphics are the people that play pokemon for 2-3 weeks on each new release and then leave. The actual fans of the games dont really care as long as battling works and is fun, and tera types is the best competitive twist yet.
@@NoBuddy89 I remember Moist Critikal thinking it would be great to grill people who actually like this game, even though they can also acknowledge this game’s bad performance.

To answer the question the game is amazing it feels like you're on a pokemon adventure But the game needed more time for programming frames drop too regularly and the game gets buggy over time if you play too long until you close the game Multiplayer crashes and bugs out raids are very laggy which doesn't help for end game raids The source cause was memory leakage Because the person in charge of making pokemon games at gamefreak is too stubborn to update & expand his staff to help with time and programming For heaven sake were not in game boy anymore games on new hardware need more time.

It's a game for kids they're not gonna put insane plot twists like in a Xenoblade or Kingdom Hearts game. That's just gonna confuse the kids and make them not care anymore. And yet there's no denying it's the best story Pokémon ever told and maybe even one of the best story in gaming in general.

My elderly dog passed away about a week or two before I played this part of the story. It cut deep.
The ending tho was something i did not expect from a pokemon game tbh kinda heartbreaking. Id like to see their reaction to it aswell.
Arven is the actual main character, we're just playing in his world.
