Today I'm installing our 6 Channel iPad Pre Amp kit in the T-Bird! We will be testing the new version of Audio Control's Matrix Plus unit. The dash has been taken apart for awhile as I hunted down two vacuum leaks and replaced the blend door actuator. Now that the updated 6 channel kit is installed in the T-Bird, I have put the dash board back together and I plan to upgrade the McIntosh amplifier at another time.
I will also be performing a BMW air-box mod for a customer. The F-150 is sold! Next episode I will focus on the Bass Van!!

Hey Doug, how/can the small Macintosh amp and crossovers networks be mounted to the other side across from the bass amp and the larger Macintosh put in back in the original location, and them be bi-amped?
Im still learning of audio and was curious of what all that stuff just make it sound more clear or?

Just put the matrix plus in with a standalone iPad kit and lights on the matrix are flashing but no audio coming out what so ever is it possible the matrix I got is a faulty unit? I also followed your iPad stand-alone unit page so I’m about 85% I have hooked everything up exactly as needed. Any reply will be much appreciated, thanks in advance!
“Update” Figured out was a defective Matrix unit got it swapped out for a new one and worked like a charm. Hope if anyone else has a similar issue this will help you with what I experienced. 👍🏼
