IRELAND is a Gordian knot ..... and so requires an Alexandrian solution:
      1. EIRE must leave the EU.
      Or
      2. N. IRELAND must be united with the South. (Long Overdue!)
Any British Subject not wishing to remain, must be bought out, with Generous and Prompt Compensation for property and Business interests and all the costs incurred in moving to wherever they wish to go.
This action must be funded from the ridiculous Overseas Aid Budget!
Bad, Old England, is not your enemy: Your enemy is within, a 5th Column of those who are determined to destroy Your Cultural Heritage, everything that makes You IRISH, with floods of Incompatible, Parasitic, Mass Immigration!
MP's who do not support the Leave Vote, are truly despicable!
An historical problem that should have been resolved 150+ years ago, must not be allowed to wreck the future of BRITAIN!
This problem can be solved with MONEY. Lots and Lots of MONEY!
(Which can easily come from the Overseas Aid Budget and the cash saved from monies now paid to the EU!)

    • @eoinenglish7659
      @eoinenglish7659 5 років тому +1

      'Eire'? Where's that?
Firstly, there is zero chance of Ireland (that's the country's name) leaving The EU.
Secondly, there's no majority for a united Ireland in Northern Ireland.
What's immigration got to do with this problem I wonder? You understand that up until very recently the British are the largest immigrant group in Ireland. They are now narrowly second after the Poles. www.cso.ie

I think that POTUS knew the dims would attempt to do this and is well prepared. Before he ran for office, he had all his records checked out to see everything was clean...he even had the Fbi check him out too. So, if the dims succeed in getting his records, then that opens the doors for every politician to lodge all financials before being legally able to run for any office in any govt department. When the Repubs. win back the House in 2020, all these things to clean out the inherent corruption on both sides of politics will be on the table to be brought into law. Term limits are obviously needed to help stem inertia to do their elected job for the people. 2 to 3 terms only. Then I think they should have an auditing system on each politician's performance. This would be published annually, to allow constituents to see if they have kept their promises to their electorate or not. Anyone earning around 200K a year, must be held accountable...period. Then, no matter what they promise in the following elective process, people could better judge their potential to deliver. I also think the 2 party thing should be abolished. It should go back to each rrpresentitave bringing the needs of their electorate to the floor, to be voted on for treasuary funds, when needed, or other, by the rest of the congress. This would allow things to move on faster and get more done. Eg...if one area needed fed funding for a new bridge, then it is debated, pros and cons looked at and then voted to give the go ahead or not. This would encourage real people to fight for their electorate.

But he changed his mind soon enough. People voted to leave. We should let them leave & not stop them or else we will fan & fuel the rise of the ultra-right. Donald Tusk very sensibly offered May a FTA + payment of EU dues at the outset but May betrayed the people by turning down Tusk’s initial offer to try instead to cherry-pick, to secure a “close and deep” relationship with the EU. @DrAnne-mc8er 5 років тому +4

Like you, I never liked her or her Party, or far more importantly in my opinion at least, many of her policies. But surely you can't justify blaming the media for the fact that as the PM of our country, she was woefully lacking (spineless to be blunt) when it came to every single Brexit negotiation she attended with either the other 27 EU leaders or Juncker, Barnier, Tusk and Verhofstadt.
In addition, a *very major issue* came out in the Cabinet meeting at Chequers in 2018 (which was very hurriedly _'shut down'_ by the Press Office at No.10), which was that the *original draft* of (allegedly) Mrs May's EU Withdrawal Bill was printed under four separate headings; Institutional Arrangements, Economic Partnerships, Mutual Security and Ongoing Co-operation. However that Cabinet meeting had to be adjourned almost immediately, and for the same reason that David Davis and Boris Johnson subsequently resigned, and why No.10 shut down the story to the (British) press.
The reason for the panic was that leather bound folders containing copies of the Draft Bill (i.e. the stage before the White Paper) had been put in front of each Cabinet Member's chair. However, rather than the four separate headings I mentioned above, the four headings read; Institutionellen Vereinbarungen, Wirtschaftspartnerschaften, Gegenseitige Sicherheit, and Laufende Zusammenarbeit. If your German isn't great by the way, those are the identical four separate headings... but having been printed in German instead of English! Yes, the fact is that Mrs May's alleged Bill had originally been printed out in German (a) more than a whole week earlier, and (b) by a relatively small and independent printing shop in the heart of Berlin!??!
The simple reason why nobody voted for Mrs May's (alleged) deal, is because had it gone through Westminster, it would have left the UK in a far worse place than if we'd simply refused to negotiate from day one and just walked away from the EU back in 2016. What Brexiteers want *could be* so blissfully swift, easy to understand, and mutually beneficial. i.e. a mutual free-trade deal on all goods and services between the EU and the UK and _vice versa._ And maintain the current Customs Union for the EU and the UK as it has been for over 40 years, until such time that technology allows us withdraw from it, which could be another 5-7 years away.
That's it! Does that sound so awful or demanding by the UK? No, of course it doesn't. The harsh reality is that the EU is petrified that if others of the remaining 27 see the UK making a huge success outside the EU (and that WILL happen if we trade on WTO tariffs), maybe they'd like to do the same thing, then they too could negotiate huge trade deals with the biggest and fastest emerging markets worldwide instead of just in the EU. Why only trade with 500,000 customers when we could arrange to trade with 6,500,000,000 customers globally? Even if we just set up trade deals with what's left of the British Commonwealth countries, those alone add up to over 2,500,000,000 globally. It really isn't rocket science!

First how do you know that will be better on WTO I am not a British but from a country that was trading in WTO. And I can assure you WTO is worst than EU. For example cars... If you try to sell a car now you will have 0% tariffs so a car that cost 30 000 £ in UK can be bouth for 30 000 not including transportation and etc but on WTO you have 10% tariff so the car cost now 33 000 £ also you have border checks they sometimes are extremely slow. I saw a lorry full whit cheese on a border just waiting forever to pass that border. Every single minute cost money!!!! One more thing is those 600 million are actually far more The EU is India's largest tradingpartner, accounting for around 13% of India's total trade in goods. Also the biggest trade partner on EU is China. And that is only 2 countries that has more than 2.5 billion . You are right is not a rocket since if a country out there wants a trade deal whit UK whit population around 60 million people or EU whit 65 % of the global GDP and more than a 600 million people and already established trade deals whit the biggest economy's in the world

There is no way of knowing were better off on WTO without checking the books. The evidence seems stacked, that it is a disaster to do so as i am sure if they felt they could, they would have. It's not as easy as it seems especially when your out of a market so large, so close, that also attracts a ton of foreign investment, that's before you even get onto trade. Being competitive in today's market is difficult, May had a very tough task and i feel sorry for her in ways, but also really pissed off in others. The amount of money that has been wasted getting extensions, preparing for a no deal situation, the fact she put three motions to or through parliament, the fact she did not make adjustments far far earlier when the EU told her what the score was, when she decided to tell us all no deal is better than a bad one and then the EU publically state may has not mentioned no deal at all to them in any way or form. She was spineless, too scared to make a move, played it safe and got destroyed, the way she played it she should have just said i back staying in and if it back fired got booted out earlier and let the process move on. Her biggest error, besides becoming PM, was the fact she was not smart enough to make adjustments, even worse, she had the president of the U.S game to back her, walked out and never returned, she was not good enough for the job, and there is nothing wrong with that, it's a fucking tall order i imagine being a PM, let alone being a successful one.

What we need now is a comitted brexiteer PM backed up with a hard nosed negotiating team from business. We need to send a message to the EU from the word go that this time we're not going to be walked over.
That the UK is not going to be treated like we're some jumped up, third world Micky mouse country. It's a free trade deal or we walk.

It was due, for decades. No one has ever been asked permission to transfer powers, sovereignty or law making to the remote unaccountable beaurocracy of Brussels. Please get that into your skull. She is a symptom of the career politician problem over decades that have ignored the people. Brown tried to get out of Blair's referendum promise of 2005 by claiming Lisbon was an "administrative exercise": he lied, because Lisbon - rejected by 2 countries - was called "the European Constitution" first off, second, it contains Declarations that subjugate, for the first time in writing, institutions and aspects of member state lawmaking and sovereign powers as being INFERIOR to EU law and EU institutions. NO ONE has ever been asked if they consent to those things, and they are fundamental. We joined for free trade, NOT for a political union or burgeoning federal superstate. And if you even attempt to claim that isn't the case, I suggest you actually read all the documentation that sat in front of Ted Heath that was hidden secret for 40 years in the Kew National Archives before freedom of information act access was granted: FCO 30/1048.
This is in my opinion a clash of worldviews and the EU makes it clear what they want. We are at a fork in the road, and the facts are laid bare and known. And the people have decided that they want to be a separate, independent nation where its laws are supreme without external interference. Unless you support / back seditious treason by the back door. The British people are VERY patriotic of their country, do not accept being insulted the way they have been for 3 years, or people calling others "far right", "extreme" or anything else for wanting to be a self governing nation state democracy. I would rather drive a garden fork through my own foot than be part of a European federal superstate, where the UK ceases being a nation in its own right. And MANY share that view, REGARDLESS of their politics (and I am a liberal and have a Spanish wife, by the way!)
