There's definitely a ton of various loops you can do, the moves you use before vtrigger also effect which loop works or not. I found that if you start with j.HK > st.MP > cr.MP xx lp boom into trigger, you can land upside-down kick immediatly ( or micro-walk just a little, or it might whiff ) into cr.MP xx hp boom + mp break + lp break, then you should have enough time to dash st.HP. It's fun to play around with, I really struggle landing the delayed cr.MP xx boom, so I found some alternatives that don't involve it and do similar damage. It's more work but there's tons of creative potential now, some people even use st.LK cancels into the loop, real fancy.
All in the timing, was having a hard time getting enough charge time after the mp to shoot a boom, but if you flick the joystick forwards as you see the hitspark it should come out reliably
Just hearing "CAPCOM is gonna nerf this, nerf that, nerf this again" kinda gets too me. Its like they want every character to ONLY have 1 combo now. This Guile Combo is probably one of, if not THE, pinnacle of what I want combos to be in SFV. I think its just cause this combo reminds me of USF4 FADC combos. Those combos were awesome as fuck, did good damage, but were hard to execute. (Cause 1F-links and whatnot)
Can you add a joystick view so I can see the timing of the dashes after the light sonic boom? Or if you can give tips on how to execute the dash after right after the light sonic boom? Love your videos!

A quick question, in Season 2.1, there changing the "charge up" from 10 to 6 frames right? won't this affect, especially Guile, in loops like this? and how the are executed?

As Ryu how do you punish or deal with the knee bazooka, all theese guile just straight up toying with u, spamming the knee the a jab (is this what they call frame trap?) and if i dare to press any button i get hit, really anoying considering how v reversal doesnt do anything, if i v reversal guile hel just use another knee and is in my face again and if i try to. Keep him away i get sonic boomed to death. HALP PLZ

The dislikes are coming from people that just dislike Street Fighter 5 or guile as a character and they literally came here just to take a dump on the video
Charge characters aren't for everyone imo. Just like the guy above me said, if you can't get the first part down with a small amount of practice you probably just don't click will that style
The Nerf really isn't that bad from what I understand. You can just combo a light attack as opposed to being able to a medium attack so it just kind of takes away a little bit of damage you could do. So it's still a really good move it's just not an amazing move
Yeah he is using resources though and it does take some skill to pull it off so it's not like a free 400 damage off of job without any meter or skill. It is kind of odd that a zoning character can corner you and beat you down like a rush down character normally does. But it looks really cool and I'm glad that it's in the game. It's not game-breaking and if it gives a character more depth and makes them more fun to play and it doesn't break the game it's usually a good thing

You need to mess around with your spacing - get Guile to miss a flash kick or 2 and CC them. It'll make them think twice about doing another flash kick and instead might just stick to blocking your jumps.

Fuck this shit! Too technical! How does Street Fighter keep non competitive players interested with all this complication. In Injustice 2, you can do cool shit on accident. The moves are so easy to execute, but they also have combos for more advanced players. Street fighter really needs to focus on not making their games so technical.
Street Fighter 5 isn't that close to Auto combos that's kind of an exaggeration but you're dead on that this game has very lenient Combos and inputs. I was able to start doing a lot more complex stuff that I thought I would be able to incredibly quickly. I think learning how to consistently fadc in Street Fighter 4 is harder than most of the combos in this game. And a lot of people that love Street Fighter would hate it if they made it as the other guy put it you can do cool stuff on accident. That sounds like a very bad quality in a fighting game
Mrfox aos you're correct and I don't know how people can't see this. Projectiles were pretty weak in Street Fighter 3 but that was just because of one mechanic more than anything.
