Dita demonstrates that a beautiful woman does not have to be born beautiful or brilliant to become both.
fuckyoutubelogin people find the way she carries herself beautiful and elegant
Yes you do have to be beautiful and brilliant to be both...😂
BlueSkye but you don’t have to be born that way, you can work on be becoming
@@blueskye9821 can you read?
She was born stunning. What you talking about?
what a good natured, well spoken woman. Very inspiring to me and others.
But she isn't shallow
Erika Heinen
All right. She's hollow.
or perhaps you're both?
Erika Heinen
Or perhaps you're nothing?
It is shallow in itself to assume one is shallow based off of how they look and what they do. Especially since she clearly isn't. She probably does sleep around..so? Still good natured
She really has helped me with finding my own pretty. I am the type of person who never see them self as beautiful.
Oh, sweetie-- you're gorgeous. Just so you know.
Thank you!
+Cassie Miller that's a really nice comment ❤️
You look pretty cute to me!
The reason she has so many female fans is - she obviously likes women (as well as men). She is so down to earth in her interviews, trying to be open and helpful to her audience. She is so the opposite of her stage personality. She's someone you just like, because she likes you back! She's very open about her love of glamour and artifice, and open about what she does - burlesque. I loved her answer to what's the difference between burlesque and stripping? "More rhinestone and feathers!"
"Average looking girl" !!! Are you kidding me ! If she's an average looking girl then I want to be an average looking girl. She's gorgeous.
Silo21 she said she WAS an average looking girl, but with makeup and glamour she could become something different.
MaddieMadX exactly! She is well known for her love of artifice. She finds beauty in the transformative nature of clothing and makeup, she is perfectly happy in her skin and whatever she wears ( or doesn't) on that skin. Her confidence and unapologetic embracing of her own style is amazing.
poor mans eva green
Looking at old photos, she looked awfully like Lisa Kudrow. How average is that?
Silo21 mmmm no that’s her point. She is an average looking girl who learned how to promote and cultivate her beauty.
it is so crazy that she is in her early forties.
Anna M she looks at least 29
no sun, no cigarettes, etc ive heard
Anna M yeah crazy she looks and sounds like shes in her late twenties , unbelievable
Anna M WAIT HOLD UP! SHE'S 40????? *faints*
She’s 45 now. Sometimes she reminds me of a younger Isabella Rossellini, ironically the daughter of Ingrid Bergman.
Even though her profession is risque, she is such an elegant woman.
Georgia Eastwell what's her profession?
burlesque dancing
Risque? Why
That's Glamour.
Because she's basically a glorified stripper. Honestly, just get used to it, it's a legitimate career
When you develop an identity, and know your sense of style, you never have to worry about chasing trends. Dita is proof of it.
she's so beautiful and classy she's clever, smart. i love the way she open up when she tell of her ballet experience. her voice even crack a bit when she tell about how she never will be a ballerina, i just want to hug her!
she is so beautiful and classy.
the lavender dress is fabulous on her.
I wish people promoted health rather than sizes, but I do admire her dedication to making more clothing available to those who have a hard time finding it.
Dita should soooo start a fashion line of vintage-styled clothing and accessories...I'd totally shop there!
she is just so damn beautiful, dont know how marilyn manson could have let her go
maggie uchiha he is very obviously still in regret for it
Jasmine Gomez He is a rock star and she is a beauty icon, I'm sure they are both perfectly able to sleep with anyone they want. They couldn't make the marriage work but looks weren't one of the issues.
Or how he got her in the first place lol
None of them seems to be family material...😑
Rhiannon Kay that's something that has puzzled me for quite some time as well..
I just love her hair so much here. When she has it just a little shorter it really brings out her neck, and it even makes her look younger.
the title of the video totally twisted her words.
Julianna Reader yeah, sounds more like a clickbait
her voice is so asmr-y
i love dita sooo much...and the background music too..
I am always surprised with her voice. I don't know why but I expected her to have thin and high pitched voice! But the deep voice suits her so well
Anna Kang I love that she doesn’t put on a fake voice, just speaks with her natural tone.
@@RR4711 a lot of women speak in a higher voice than what would be their "natural voice". The voice change (girl to woman) is real, but often harder because the "breaking" isn't quite as noticeable as with the boys. A voice coach once told me to relax and sigh. That sound would be closer to my "real voice"...
All women are 'real size women'. There is healthy and unhealthy but not woman deserves to feel like she's not 'real' or the wrong shape
Nina! Thanks for standing for it.
She is absolutely beautiful, and a great role model.
she likes Marilyn, i officially love her.
I saw this and immediately thought of Marilyn /Manson/ and was gonna be like "bro, she was married to him.." before realizing what you meant 😂
it's xander same 😂
She resembles The Black Dahlia, it truly is uncanny. The black hair and sleek countenance, even the desire of a glamorous life is parallel.
Dita really doesn't look anything like Elizabeth Shorts, but I just I can understand why everyone keeps saying that. Their lifestyle and and both their trademark black color is a little similar.
+Sugoi Sugoi Never having seen The Black Dahlia, only Dita, I just googled the former and I agree completely - I gasped when I saw the pictures. Incredibly similar.
Sometimes she wears a white dahlia on her hair
She's so sincere and beautiful, inside and out
She is incredibly intelligent and her presence is powerful both on and off the stage. Though she's not the prettiest person in the world, her elegance, glamour, and performance are all what keep her as beautiful and iconic as she is
I LOVE DITA!! Got to see one of her shows at a club called Manray in Cambridge and she signed autographed pictures of herself after. She is SO NICE on top of being GORGEOUS!!
She looks so good for someone that works all the time. I bet she looks good even without makeup.
She is so classy. Wow. Hat off.
Size 20 BRAVO DITA!
I love the essence of glamour and how well she embodies it.
It's totally ridiculous to have titled this video 'Dita Von Teese on real size women.' The whole absurd concept a "real woman" curvy, voluptuous, big, is in itself - while trying to be an inclusive term - is actually discriminatory against those women who are smaller naturally. Rather than promoting "real women" whatever the hell you mean by that, promote health. PARTICULARLY because Dita never used that term herself to describe the larger models they were working with. She didn't imply that smaller women were somehow fake. I just think that you jumped the gun a bit with the title turning her comments into something they weren't.
PussikatPacino, thank you. Can't stand that "real women" crap. We don't have to put others down, to feel better about our self.
PussikatPacino real women should be you and me and all women
Yes! Someone has finally said it. I totally hate this term, and the fact that some people (it's disgusting that it includes women) think there are only two types of femenine bodies: super skinny high fashion model like or thick curvy hourglass shape. And make it seem that one is better than the other wich is not true. Every single size is "real" and beautiful.
PussikatPacino I don't interpret it that way at all. You have to consider the fact that the fashion industry of the past several decades has dictated that beauty = size 2. This is simply a commentary on that fact.
PussikatPacino
I mean it is vogue :/
You are naturally talented wt the aestetics, as a Libra‼️💎
You can not help but love this woman.
She is truly glamorous, the way she talks and moves, I live her
That's what elegant and chic is ! This woman is a delight to behold.
Dita Von Teese is a lady! so much class, elegance and delicacy in one package.
Yes, me too. She has a lovely, soft speaking voice that really suits her image.
Dita always comes off as accepting and kind.
What a beautiful and well-spoken woman. She is lovely, inside and out.
Glamour is to bewitch...in Scotland we have places with names that come from the same meaning but it is spelled 'Glamar' and it's what the faeries do to you (or beautiful women like Dita and the Hollywood stars she's speaking about). Glamour is created, like a spell and it is a fact that if you are projecting glamour properly it seems men fall and never seem to recover lol!
that's why magician's assistants were called 'glamorous'
Those ideas are as old as the hills; even before people crushed up red, dried beetles 💋. The twinkle, the shimmer, the gloss, the sensuous curve.. They are all beguiling.
'Real size' is any sized woman that is healthy, not just curvy or larger girls.Dita is naturally tiny BUT curvy like Kylie Minogue. And yes it is possible to be both.(I've met Dita+she is very small boned+petite, eats very healthy, works out+is physically strong). Some of her clothing lines cater to larger girls as well. Thing is you can't please everyone, hence all of the weight talk on here. The people who are making the deal about 'real woman'/bigger girls are the ones with the issue themselves.
So very feminine, in the most complimentary way.
Thanks for posting this excellent interview!
aquatic luggage drops handle dangling vintage hand popper bag fireworks 🎆
No eye-liner days. I love it. Very elegant and demur.
Huh?
She is so beautiful and adorable at the same time.
When I was a child, I also wanted to be a ballerina but never took lessons but always loved the clothes and hairstyles of the 50's and the beautiful women that were actresses in those years. I'm sure girls can remember the paper dolls in the early to late 50's.
dita is the most beaautiful woman on the planet, love her
I don't understand how she hasn't been snapped up by Hollywood. Can you imagine her doing remakes of the Maltese Falcon Casablanca LA confidential.
Eva Green and Dita von Teese are just soo beautiful
She's one of a kind, other women want's to be her, but they can't, bcs they don't got her sense of style‼️From a Libra to another.
She is so amazing
Its great Dita went to a size 20. Maybe in the future she could add a few more sizes for others to enjoy.
Dita has such a classy look.
May g-d bless you and your family always.
I adore Dita Von Teese ;)
~Beauty is in the eye of the beholder~ A particular size really shouldn't matter to each of us.{women} As long as each of us are happy and healthy and satisified w/what we see in the mirror, size really shouldn't matter. Dita has her right to her opinion. I personally think she's adorable and I think it's great she's figured out her niche in life! I'll admit, I'm approaching...well, let's just say I'm not a sprink chick anymore and I've yet to figure out what I want to be "when I grow up!" Last
I thought I was looking at betty page for a moment. I love the 40's and 50's. I love to go in the back of my mind and daydream about being in the moment of burlesque. I think that it is sexy and a way to show off your womanhood to the world with the style that iconic and glamour.
fuck what alot of people says i admire dita because no matter what decade she always stayed true to her style people like Selena gomez and miley cyrus change up their style genre every ten minutes while throughout the millenium she always stuck to pinup no matter if it was instyle or not
She is marvelous!
I love her so much 💕💕💕
I love her even more after watching this
My absolute idol 🥺✨
i'm absolutely in love with dita. she just oozes sex appeal effortlessly.
Fabulous!!! Impeccable. One of my absolute favorite people.
Dita could wear a black sack and she'd still look so elegant
I love the shots of her in black and white.
it also helps if you actually know how to put it all together. Dita's probably had a lot of help and guidance from designers and stylists.
This is what little girl should be looking up to. This woman is everything women need.
Preach! Especially towards overweight people; some sort of resentment or a "how dare you" as if they aren't struggling and they're just there to make others feel mad. People like to refer to obesity rates as an argument but while that explains the concern, it doesn't explain the hate or the fact that they're channeling it all on one person. Look at all the people "offended" by Melissa McCarthy for doing her job as a physical comedian. "She's promoting obesity"... Showing is not promoting!
She reminds me of Dorian Leigh Parker Revelons original Fire and Ice girl.
i have a whole new respect for her after watching thus.
I am not classy enough to be blessed to be in the same room with this icon.
I personally think she's amazing. All of the people commenting about the weight of a woman clearly aren't finding the deeper message...Glamour is what YOU create. YOU control how people see you. IT DOESN'T MATTER what size you are, large or small, every woman has it in her to be able to channel her inner sexual, glamorous self, it just takes some soul searching...
She's so nice! :)
Ty
I wish people would use the term regular size more instead of real size. There are women who work hard to achieve their slim bodies or they're blessed with fit ones and they're real because they exist for a fact, their bodies are not 'unreal'. SMGDH.
she is honestly the most beautiful woman.
she iz zoooo eleeeeegannnttttttt dangggggggg
she is one of the most classiest, sexiest women EVER...not like these fake girls these day...she is a true beauty...LOVE her x
That is amazing! I understand that Marilyn has a thing against "fat women". GO DITA!!!! My new love!
Wow..........classic AND down to earth. U GO GIRL. (whoops....AND beauty)
Are there some tutorials on her mid/short hairstyle? (Like in this video) My hair is not long enough to pull off her classic shoulder length look :3
she probably uses hair curlers
hot rollers and pin curls
Some people want to look too retro, but I don't think you're hating, people should NOT wear distinctively retro clothes unless that's part of the image they want to portray, they should know what they are rocking!!! I have a Radical take on wordrobe, so its all good with me!!!
that to say, most people just don't WANT to look like they stepped out of a film, some times, us freaks do!!! though, it not particularly freaky... unless you want it to be!!
keep rockin
Common sense‼️💎
It´s very pleasant to listen to her. She is so elegant and really stylish, very nice. Unbelievable that she is american --- she doesn´t appear to be vulgar, shrilly and arrogant at all.
I love her
I feel like her and Lady Gaga could be really good friends
I agree!!! im 5'4 and 125 ...
I love her so much! She's perfect!
Dita!!! Respect!!
@ukehimesama i think they mean it more in the sense that bigger girls are more "real" and more common than the media make it sound, i dont think it means that smaller girls are any less real or beautiful, i just think "real" means more realistic rather than saying fat :)
Lovely interview :O)
They completely twisted her words with that title. I'm so happy she never said anything about a certain type being a 'real woman'. A woman is a real woman whether she be on the larger side or the petite side. Stay heathly loves!
Misleading title of video, Dita would never divide women with this “real women bodies vs unnatural skinny bitches” bs that’s going on these days. She clearly said that she cares about women of all different sizes.
Okay I’m obsessed 😭 help
obsessed w her
Agree 100%! Great comment!!!
where can you buy these clothes!?
She's is A smart woman. 💕
I almost forgot how obsessed I am with Dita
Agreed!
loveeee her
