Exactly. Ordered one today. Sadly my house keys were thrown out of my jacket pocket while riding my Zooz 1200 yesterday and those set of keys are very important to me. When this device arrives it will definitely help me out in the future if something like this happens again. The fact that it shows led lights while searching for it are cool as well.

Lots of people do, but you might be interested to know that a big reason this took Google so long to roll out is that they wanted Apple to play ball too so that if one of their trackers is traveling with an iPhone user they'll be warned. This helps keep people safe.
Android / Google really are going from strength to strength. If they really polish up the Find My Device network, and continue releasing phones like the pixel, I really hope this kind of thing will start to "crush" Apple's monopoly. Question I thought about... Do you have to be logged to the app to participate, because if you are logged in and lose a device they now know where you live because that's where all your other devices are.
By default, the app requires authentication every time you open it. So you'd have to lose a phone that you have no required authentication on that you either manually disabled the app's authentication or they have your Google password. I'd say at that point, that's on you lol.
@@scaryifliteral Yes I get that, I'm a security freak and even applock stocard. I have had many issues lately with FB and strikes for things I didn't do. Reset all passwords and log out everything. Thanks.
