Since competing in the new RF2 online races I find it real hard to login to iRacing. The whole RF2 system is much better, netcode, tire model, physics, FFB even to how it runs qualify sessions and handles off tracks - so good. As a hardcore iRacing fan I feel like RF2 should have iRacing being slightly concerned.
Gotta love Toban short reverse, what a great little track, such a great flow to it. Was a very eventful race, you were kept well and truly on your toes throughout. Makes for great watching!
great race, man! When you said toban, it took me a short while to realize it is reverse layout and even longer to find my way around based on the normal flow that I remember. It is a different layout I normally drive, so one section was unknown to me. But it was great fun to watch.
Blimey. Note to self… do NOT try F4 racing in rF2 if I’m feeling a bit tired! That was mad, relentless action, hardly any time to breathe. Sadly I don’t think I’ll get chance to try this combo, but it looks a belter.
Lol I was shattered afterwards I can tell you that! It’s a quality track - like a mini sachsenring! Not many places to overtake mind, and a lot of drivers seemingly need more practice at keeping it on track 😂
Well done. I tried that race in another split. Qualified 9th and got wiped before the first corner in a massive crash so I had a dnf. Not sure if you can press a key to go to pitts for repair. Does anybody know?
Hey buddy! Quite a bit less loose at the rear and more planted I’d say. Its more planted than RaceRoom too from memory. But I’m still 2 seconds off the guys with top pace!!
I've done about 15 races in the online system and haven't had the desync issue. So Ben's just been unlucky. Maybe some conflict buried deep within his setup. Or maybe I've just been lucky in avoiding it. I suggest you give it a go. It's a lot of fun.
If you are used to racing F4 in iRacing you will be at home with this car, the main difference is you can push a lot harder on the RF2 tires. The physics and force feedback is very good so it makes for a fun car to drive.

I feel the same with rF2, I'm only logging on to iRacing to finish off my Clio season, then straight back to rF2.
Great race. RFactor2 physics are so good and really shine with this particular car and track combo.

Would love to give this a go but rf2 still looks too janky, can’t be dealing with de-syncs. How was it other than the couple of screen freezes?

Rookie series, all free with multiple tatuus, radical and bm m2. Tracks are also free in rookies 😊
I’d say it’s more planted in rF2, less loose at the rear. But then I’m not that quick in it yet to push to the max!
