Woodturning videos are not usually my favorite videos put out by woodworkers but you sir are a completely different animal! Your woodturning videos are riviting. I love the combination of problem solving, CNC, wood harvesting story and narration. It's always a pleasure to see a new Howarth video pop up in my feed!

Your Woodworking skills are top notch, but you always amaze me with your video skills. I have to say the whole black and white/with just one object painted in rich colors is blowing my mind. 🤯

One of those films that’s hard to watch, but should be seen, IMHO. Anyway, the woodworking is exceptional!

With all the design skills, woodworking prowess and video wizardry aside, you're plain and simple one of the best story tellers out there. A true inspiration to anyone who went into the shop and set out to create something. The only thing I'm missing is the sound of that cello. I hope it features again in one of your videos soon.

Your excellent technical skills are perfectly melded to the alien and artistic parts of your being. This is why I love all aspects of your work, most especially your documentation, which allows me to see the progression of your various projects. :-) Thank you for sharing.

    1. I am so glad I found this channel. Amazing and focused work~
    2. What a treasure trove of tools!
    3. Have you ever pulled an overnighter?
    4. Who does the laundry and how many washing machines and dryers have you gone through?
Thanks for the voice over sound bites, it makes the video so much more interesting. And yes, my mind screamed when the branch was destroyed and in all honesty, I love the cracks and what we see as imperfections but Mother Nature knows best...most of the time.

I like the addition of you talking directly to the camera like at 6:55. I have to admit I think it's such a shame the natural branch in the knot wasn't discovered in time to be cast in resin! That could have looked so amazing and been such an unbelievable stroke of luck. No use crying over spilt milk though, the end result is still gorgeous. It was clever of you to first CNC the hole to one of the smaller blanks so you had some protection. That's something I would never have thought of myself but seems so obvious once you know it.
